Watching Fox, I see the crack Paris PD is carrying Old Mini-14’s with what looks like 10 rd Magazines. They have the pencil barrels. The Paris PC Police. Just Keystone Cops.
Back around 1975 the first Mini-14s hit the market and I bought one. Suddenly they completely disappeared from the US market and I found later almost all of them were being sent to FRANCE for police use.
I remember seeing on TV some French riot police back in the late 1970s using Mini-14s.
The first mini-14s had lots of faults which were fixed with subsequent models.
