The Head of MI5 has warned of a Paris style atrocity by Islamic terrorist groups taking place in Britain.
Speaking at the Royal United Services Institute, Andrew Parker, the Director General of the Security Services, said extremists were “trying to direct terrorist attacks in the UK and elsewhere from Syria”.
And he said that MI5 had “stopped three UK terrorist plots in recent months alone” where deaths would have certainly resulted but warned “Although we and our partners try our utmost we know that we cannot hope to stop everything” and spoke of his concern at the “growing gap” between the threat and the resources security services have to combat them.
Mentioning the horrific attacks in Paris, Mr Parker said it was “too early” to “come to judgements about the precise details or origins of the attack” but warned that it was a “terrible reminder” of what fundamentalists are capable of in our own towns and cities.
He said it would “be surprising” if he didn’t “focus on the ongoing and increasing challenge from Syria”(continued)

Any politician who is not awake already is being paid to stay asleep. The only thing to do with those is to remove them from power.

Last year George Bush's ex Press Secretary Ari Fleischer was making the rounds on the talking heads shows repeatedly stressing how President Bush's policies kept the world safe from terror.
I was a bit perplexed by his singular focus on this topic, but the reason seems to be coming clear.
Trouble was brewing and Obama’s polices were setting the stage for major upcoming terror attacks in the future and Ari wanted to on record before all hell breaks loose.
The future seems to about right now. .

Western governments never learn. Just look at the blowback we got from arming the islamic terrorists in Afghanistan against the soviets. What will come out of Syria will be orders of magnitutde worse.
Thankfully, Florida law is satisfied with "I forgot I had it, I'll go put it in my car."
Refusal to disarm and return, or leaving opens you to a charge of "trespassing."
