I did not know the Terrs had body armor.
Do we know this? The Terrs got away, at least at first.
Automatic fire in small arms is vastly overrated.
And plenty of carnage if you jump the fence and try to swim in his pool. LOL
I’ve read they had body armor. May not have been true. I’ve seen an astonishing amount of rumors about this case printed as fact.
I agree about auto fire. Especially in groups with a cultural tendency towards “spray and pray.”
But burst fire can be quite effective. And the big problem in a cop vs. terrorist shootout is rifles vs. handguns. More power and much easier to shoot accurately, especially under stress.
According to this general, they appeared to be wearing either body armor or suicide vests. Because they had heavy coats on.

In the Ottawa parliamentary room, they tore off the flagpoles to use the sharp ends to defend themselves if the gunman made his way in.
Anything is useful and it may even cost lives of the brave. But, if we had a society that was conditioned that we should advance at the enemy and not cower before them, maybe we could send off these vermin sooner rather than later, and they would not get their “glory” from extended newscast during the dragnet.

Just saw it in reports and there was a witness who first heard a loud explosion.
Note in the post 50 pic that the News Cartel’s highly trained super-duper expert elite guerilla warrior commando at the bottom has his muzzle trained right on his brother. Plus he is not visually checking the area about them for more opponents.
I also doubt they had an RPG. If they did then why not use it?
I hope if the Muslims start any of this crap in the US, we bomb the mosque that hosted the terrorists. They will moderate and turn in the radicals or there will be no more mosques.
Also if they come at us with Sharia law demands which deny our constitution, find their mosque and blow it up.
