Well put. Islam is a corrupting influence, and that’s probably why “liberals” defend it.

“US ‘at war’ with ‘lone wolf’ terrorists, attorney general says in Paris”

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/jan/11/eric-holder-paris-unity-rally-war-against-terrorists

Speaking to NBC from Paris, where he was attending a counter-terrorism summit and the march, Holder said: “That is the thing that I think keeps me up most at night, this concern about the lone wolf who goes undetected.” Questioned by CNN about how the Paris attackers were known to authorities but still managed to act, he said such people “float under the radar screens”.

“I certainly think we are at war with those who would commit terrorist attacks and corrupt the Islamic faith to try to justify their terrorist actions,” he told ABC during a tour of Sunday talk shows as he led the Obama administration’s response to the attacks. “That’s who we are at war with and we are determined to take the fight to them.”

The White House said on Sunday it will host a conference on anti-extremism on 18 February. Holder said: “We will bring together all of our allies to discuss ways in which we can counteract this violent extremism that exists around the world.”

Speaking to CNN, Holder said: “We’re horrified by what happened and we express our condolences to the French people. What we saw in France over the course of this last week is unfortunately what we’re going to have to confront into the future.

“We have seen these kinds of attacks or attempts to have these kinds of attacks certainly in the United States, in the United Kingdom, we’ve seen this in Nairobi, in Australia and in Canada. This is the nature of the new threat that we must confront. We can I think successfully confront it if we share information in a way that we perhaps have not in the past.”

“Holder is inadvertently telling the truth here for a change - anyone who is a “moderate” muslim, like El-Sisi, is the Enemy and must be destroyed. Pure islamists like the Muslim Brotherhood thugs, now they are the ones that need our help! Drop all those arms (accidentally) to the purists know as ISIS, that’s the Obama way.”

98% of Muslims are giving the rest a bad name.

It’s a battle among Holder, Obambi, and Jarrett as to whose head will be cut off last. They’re heavily steeped in muslim sympathy, and are looking out for their own necks.

Pathetic.

Holder to the rescue of Islam.

While the reading of the Koran is clear, it is of no surprise that someone who cannot read the US Constitution would be so confused.

It’s interesting the way socialists approach theological concepts but when it comes to Islam they are not the only ones who refuse to approach the issue. That even includes leading Christian clergy including Pope Francis.

Followers of Mohammed not only claim, but truly believe that God has authorized them to kill those who refuse to submit to their version of God’s will. That is a basic tenet of that religion. A claim which goes unchallanged. While it’s understandable for atheists which most socialists are, not to approach that claim on a theological basis. It’s bewildering why any Christian clergy refuse to admit it even exists and is a basic part of Islam creed and worse yet are unable to condem it.

Radical Islam is not a corruption of Islam. Peaceful Islam is a corruption of Islam. People best understand that.

Holder and Obama claim killing people for making cartoons of islam is not islam, yet, Saudi Arabia is killing someone for mocking islam.

Even Obama said, "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam".

"Slander", merely slandering his prophet Mad Mo, is reason to hold accountable in his own words.

LETTERMAN: Now, I don’t understand, um, the ambassador to Libya killed in an attack on the consulate in Benghazi. Is this an act of war? Are we at war now? What happens here?

OBAMA: Here’s what happened. ... You had a video that was released by somebody who lives here, sort of a shadowy character who — who made an extremely offensive video directed at — at Mohammed and Islam —

LETTERMAN: Making fun of the Prophet Mohammed.

OBAMA: Making fun of the Prophet Mohammed. And so, this caused great offense in much of the Muslim world. But what also happened, extremists and terrorists used this as an excuse to attack a variety of our embassies, including the one, the consulate in Libya.

The Obama administration once condemned French magazine Charlie Hebdo after it published cartoons satirizing Islam in 2012.

“Well, we are aware that a French magazine published cartoons featuring a figure resembling the Prophet Muhammad, and obviously, we have questions about the judgment of publishing something like this. We know that these images will be deeply offensive to many and have the potential to be inflammatory,” then-White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told the press pool.

After denouncing Charlie Hebdo, Carney hedged, noting the importance of free speech.

“But we’ve spoken repeatedly about the importance of upholding the freedom of expression that is enshrined in our Constitution. In other words, we don’t question the right of something like this to be published; we just question the judgment behind the decision to publish it.”

(snip)

In its initial statement in response to the terrorist attack, the White House condemned the attacks, but did not make any judgment calls on the content of the magazine, as it had done in the past. As Reason.com pointed out, it also didn’t mention free speech.

“I strongly condemn the horrific shooting at the offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris that has reportedly killed 12 people,” President Barack Obama said in a prepared statement.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this terrorist attack and the people of France at this difficult time. France is America’s oldest ally, and has stood shoulder to shoulder with the United States in the fight against terrorists who threaten our shared security and the world. Time and again, the French people have stood up for the universal values that generations of our people have defended. France, and the great city of Paris where this outrageous attack took place, offer the world a timeless example that will endure well beyond the hateful vision of these killers. We are in touch with French officials and I have directed my Administration to provide any assistance needed to help bring these terrorists to justice.”

From the three articles below, it is clear that the Obama adm aims to revert the current "I am Charlie" anti-Muslim radicals narrative back to its chosen PC "violent extremism" meme.

WHITE HOUSE PLANS CONFERENCE ON COUNTERING VIOLENT EXTREMISM

White House to hold global security summit Feb 18: U.S. official

White House sets delayed anti-extremism summit

This last article hasn't been posted as a thread yet, but Politico uses the acronym "CVE."

"violent extremism"
"countering violent extremism"
"CVE"

White House’ strategic approach to CVE

AUGUST 2011 EMPOWERING LOCALPARTNERS TO PREVENTVIOLENT EXTREMISMIN THE UNITED STATES

...

3. Countering Violent Extremist Propaganda While Promoting Our Ideals

Radicalization that leads to violent extremism includes the diffusion of ideologies and narratives thatfeed on grievances, assign blame, and legitimize the use of violence against those deemed responsible. We must actively and aggressively counter the range of ideologies violent extremists employ to radicalizeand recruit individuals by challenging justifications for violence and by actively promoting the unifyingand inclusive vision of our American ideals.

Toward this end, we will continue to closely monitor the important role the internet and social network-ing sites play in advancing violent extremist narratives. We protect our communities from a variety ofonline threats, such as sexual predators, by educating them about safety on the internet, and we areusing a similar approach to thwart violent extremists. We will work to empower families and communi-ties to counter online violent extremist propaganda, which is increasingly in English and targeted atAmerican audiences.

For example, in the case of our current priority, we must counter al-Qa’ida’s propaganda that the UnitedStates is somehow at war with Islam. There is no single profile of an al-Qa’ida-inspired terrorist, butextensive investigations and research show that they all believe: (1) the United States is out to destroyIslam; and (2) this justifies violence against Americans. Al-Qa’ida and its supporters spread messages of
hate, twist facts, and distort religious principles to weave together a false narrative that Muslims mustattack Americans everywhere because the United States is waging a global war against Islam. Whileal-Qa’ida claims to be the vanguard of Islam, the overwhelming majority of its victims are Muslim. We will challenge this propaganda through our words and deeds, defined by the very ideals of who weare as Americans. As the President has stated repeatedly, the United States is not, and never will be, atwar with Islam. Islam is part of America, a country that cherishes the active participation of all its citizens, regardless of background and belief.

We live what al-Qa’ida violently rejects—religious freedom andpluralism. We have emphasized a paradigm of engagement with Muslim communities around the world, based on mutual respect and interest manifest in our new partnerships and programming to promoteentrepreneurship, health, science and technology, educational exchanges, and opportunities for women.

But we must remember that just as our words and deeds can either fuel or counter violent ideologiesabroad, so too can they here at home. Actions and statements that cast suspicion toward entire com-munities, promote hatred and division, and send messages to certain Americans that they are somehowless American because of their faith or how they look, reinforce violent extremist propaganda and feedthe sense of disenchantment and disenfranchisement that may spur violent extremist radicalization. The Federal Government will work to communicate clearly about al-Qa’ida’s destructive and bankruptideology, while dispelling myths and misperceptions that blame communities for the actions of a smallnumber of violent extremists.
