Obama's Paris snub wasn't an oversight

Opinion: White House Obama's Paris snub wasn't an oversight By Byron York | January 12, 2015 | 4:33 pm

The uproar over whether President Obama or another top administration official should have attended the massive unity rally in Paris has obscured an important point about the White House's reaction to the latest terror attacks in Europe. The administration no-shows were not a failure of optics, or a diplomatic misstep, but were instead the logical result of the president's years-long effort to downgrade the threat of terrorism and move on to other things.

"The analogy we use around [the White House] sometimes, and I think is accurate, is if a JV team puts on Lakers uniforms, that doesn't make them Kobe Bryant," Obama told the New Yorker magazine in a January 2014 interview. The president was referring to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria but was also suggesting in a broader sense that a number of post-9/11 offshoot terrorist organizations aren't worth the sort of war-footing mobilization that took place in the George W. Bush years.

WH admits Obama should have sent high-profile rep to Paris

Seven months earlier, Obama made an extended case for downgrading the terrorist threat in a May 23, 2013, speech at the National Defense University. He mentioned al Qaeda 24 times in the speech and argued that America's victory over the organization behind 9/11 was nearly complete.

"Today, the core of al Qaeda in Afghanistan and Pakistan is on a path to defeat," Obama said. "Their remaining operatives spend more time thinking about their own safety than plotting against us."

I suspect he stayed away because he wishes to stay loyal to the muzzie brotherhood. If he leaves office he will become a leading voice for islam just as intends to do with that soldier who walked away from his base and his dad went to the white house and spoke allah.

Murdering infidels is not “big stuff” for a Moslem president. It is ho-hum everyday stuff.

Dem Sen. Murphy to Maddow: Blame Bush for Radicalization of Hebdo Terrorists

By Mark Finkelstein | January 13, 2015 | 8:28 AM EST

“We Blame George W. Bush” is a recurring category in James Taranto’s “Best of the Web Today” column at the Wall Street Journal. The meme mocks the penchant of progressives to blame the former president for everything under the sun.

The phenomenon was illustrated in an ugly way on last night’s Rachel Maddow Show. Dem Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut blamed the existence of the Charlie Hebdo terrorists on, yup, W. Oh, Murphy didn’t call 43 out by name. He didn’t have to. Instead, Murphy went out of his way to claim that the murderers weren’t radicalized by ISIS [which might thus be attributable to Obama’s neglect], but instead as a result of “the invasion and occupation of Iraq,” which he described as a “decade-long mistake.” Got it? Iraq not ISIS. Decade-long, not recent. Not Obama’s fault. All together now: We Blame George W. Bush.

A real leader of the West would have declined to go because the march, in reality, is an empty gesture devoid of any real action behind the symbolism. Islamic terrorism exists in large part because the very leaders staging the march have done nothing tangible to stop it, but have encouraged it by doing nothing and have tolerated mass immigration into enclaves that have purposefully NOT assimilated into Western culture. Obama’s attendance would have highlighted the fact that he has enthusiastically repeated the mistakes of other world leaders within the borders of our country. Additionally, he has aided and abetted the terrorists by “losing the peace” in Iraq and Afghanistan, and has essentially turned over large bases of operation to the terrorists for their use.

Obama was afraid to attend because he feared that the media would truthfully evaluate his own record on Islamic terrorism. Such a truthful evaluation of his record, in my opinion, should be a threat to the continuation of his Presidency.

Siraj Wahhaj, & John Esposito blame Americans for giving Islam a bad name
January 13, 2015 sheikyer mami

Muslim leaders from across America will gather in Texas this weekend to hold the annual Stand With the Prophet in Honor and Respect conference, a weekend forum that is being billed as a “movement to defend Prophet Muhammad, his person, and his message,” according to event information.

The Saturday event, which seeks to combat “Islamophobes in America” who have turned the Islamic Prophet Muhammad “into an object of hate,” according to organizers, comes just a week after radicalized Islamists in France killed 17 people.

Organizers of the event place the blame for Islam’s bad reputation on the media and so-called American Islamophobes who have “invested at least $160 million dollars to attack our Prophet and Islam,” according to the conference web page. (Free Beacon)

No, you’re not the only one. BO has no restrictions (elections) on him anymore and he can go wild in his & Valerie Jarretts attempt to bring this country down.

Watch out if Fauxchahontis gets elected. Jarrett will be able to continue her plan.

Typical moslem foolishness ... it is derision not hate. Why hate a pedophile religious figure? Waste of energy.

I would bet money that these mooselime organizers will not condemn the bloody lust of their terrorists. Islam is all about lying and demonic slaughter. That will not be admitted, so the entire reason for this sham convention is to try and fool the human race yet another time as the religion of neck slitters and rapists prepares for their next slaughter theater.

Action Hero Liam Neeson on Paris Attack: US Gun Ownership ‘A [Bleeping] Disgrace’
Jan 12, 2015 — 1:29pm

Share

from Breitbart.com by Awr Hawkins

Standing in front of a poster of himself holding a handgun in Taken 3, the latest installment in a film series that relies on gunplay to heighten action sequences, Liam Neeson spoke to the attacks on Charlie Hebdo by offering condolences, then saying: “There are too many [bleeping] guns out there, especially in America.”

He said the level of private gun ownership in the US is “a [bleeping] disgrace.”

According to Gulfnews.com, Neeson stuck with the American rant, saying: “I think the population is like, 320 million? There’s over 300 million guns, privately owned, in America. I think it’s a [bleeping] disgrace. Every week now we are picking up a newspaper and seeing, ‘Yet another few kids have been killed in schools.’”

Lost in the tirade was the fact that the discussion began with a focus on the attacks on Charlie Hebdo–attacks which took place in France, a country rich in gun control, yet one in which gun laws were impotent to spoil the plans of dedicated and well-trained attackers.

Asked if he saw duplicity in fervently pushing gun control while making a living with a gun in his hand, Neeson said:

A character like Bryan Mills going out with guns and taking revenge: it’s fantasy. It’s in the movies, you know? I think it can give people a great release from stresses in life and all the rest of it, you know what I mean? It doesn’t mean [the viewers] are all going to go out and go, “Yeah, let’s get a gun!”

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu Defies France To Join Paris March

French president angry over Netanyahu’s attendance.
F. Peter Brown — January 12, 2015

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defied a request from France to stay away from a solidarity march in Paris over the weekend to protest Islamist violence.

Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas was given the same message. However, when Netanyahu defied France, Abbas was invited by the country.

France drew Israeli ire when it voted in support of the Palestinians over a draft UN Security Council resolution that would have set an end date for Israeli occupation.

When Netanyahu’s rivals in the Israeli governing coalition, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Economy Minister Naftali Bennett, announced that they would be attending the march, Netanyahu decided to go.

French President Francois Hollande wanted “focus on solidarity with France, and to avoid anything liable to divert attention to other controversial issues, like Jewish-Muslim relations or the Israeli-Palestinian conflict,” which is the reason he did not invite Netanyahu to the march.

Hollande was angry with Netanyahu for attending, and even got up to leave when Netanyahu got up to make a speech at the main synagogue in Paris to commemorate the four Jews killed.

Can we expect Obama to attend the “Stand with the Prophet. . .” rally? It certainly would be consistent with his behavior up to now.

IMHO:

Obama couldn’t go to Paris to join the international march against Muslim extremists because he was, is, and will continue to be a good practicing Muslim.

The Koran requires all god practicing Muslims to support the advancement of the one true religion.

Obama going to and marching in the Paris march wouldn’t do that.

QED - Obama was, is, and will continue to be a good practicing Muslim not matter what happens and how badly it damages the nation’s international standing.

Obama was afraid to attend because he feared that the media would truthfully evaluate his own record on Islamic terrorism.

Plus, he would have had to hang out with all those honkies, and maybe even be forced to shake hands with that Jewish guy whose guts he hates. That would have made Obama quite uncomfortable.

Obviously, football was the more comfortable option.

B. HUSSEIN OBAMA: ‘I will stand with the Muslims. . .
Will injustices in America ever go away completely?

by: j. grant swank, jr | published: 07 01, 2008

Note what B. Hussein Obama says in his own words. They are from his books entitled “Dreams of My Father” and “Audacity of Hope.

In “Audacity of Hope” he writes: “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” The quote comes from page 261 of the paperback edition of “The Audacity of Hope.

B. Hussein was writing about the injustices suffered by some in America. In that context he wrote that sentence.

Will injustices in America ever go away completely? No. We live in an imperfect world. Therefore, will the situation ever arise by which Muslims in the United States will cry out for B. Hussein to lean in their favor. Of course. And will he?

Well, he’s already said he will “stand with the Muslims.” Need we go any further?
