Shoot, back in the late 50's, early 60's you could fill a 20 gallon tank for less than $7.00. Of course when you worked for less than a dollar an hour as a teen, the $7.00 was not easy to come by.

I can remember 22-29 cent a gal gas in the late 60s. $5 bought a lot of gas back then.
