Actually, Cruz said candidates shouldn't "run to the mushy middle," not through it. There's a bit of a difference. "Through it" sounds as though you might end up somewhere else. You won't.

the mushy middle
Ouch!
Pro-Romney articles recently are saying Romney will attack Jeb from the right.
Good to see Ted even more to the right of both. Romney and Jeb can claim to be conservatives, but neither can really show it now.

We do not need any reruns nor any spin-offs. We need no Romney, no McCain, and please no bushes. Give us a plain talking, America loving, constitutional, wholesome, Godly, articulate person. We are just waiting to vote for such a person.

You’ll know when he actually announces because it’ll be the lead story on every 24 hour cable news show, 6pm and 11pm newscast, blog, website, newspaper etc...
And it’ll be especially celebrated here. I imagine a link to that announcement will be in Breaking News in ALL CAPS.

nor the mucky left either, Ted,
Willard is closer to the left than he is the middle..

Mitt better counter this with a speech to prove he has hardened his mushy middle—We need no Twinkie Romney—we need a Reagan Romney. Advise to Mitt: Attack Obama! Attack his Foreign Policy as not only wrong headed but dangerious. Read ted Cruz’s page to get a few new ideas. Get hard or get out! Maybe have a chat with Sarah Palin! Maybe a trip to Israel is in order. But the old Mitt needs a re-invention! No more mr. Nice Mormon! Better come out with your inner Brigam Young!

We have been served GOPE mush since 1992 and the recipe hasn’t changed, it sucked then and sucks today. The GOP is the definition of insanity.

Rand Paul campaigns FOR Romney, and Cruz says this.
Worth remembering as the media tries to sell Rand Paul.

There is a very good theological reason for backing Mitt, The Millionaire Mormon Milquetoast, over Ted Cruz. Our eternal happiness depends upon our understanding and acceptance of it. It's that serious, OK?
As you chaps may, or may not know, your top Mormons are on the Fast Track to becoming Gods on Other Planets. After several days of fasting in the desert, which is not easy on FL's Gulf Coast, it came to me in a mystic sort of vision. This planet, Mother Gaia, or "Earth," as you Right Wing GW Deniers call it, may well have already been assigned to Mitt (possibly aka "Willard, The God of This Planet") It is reasonable to assume then, that opposing him could be what the RC's call "a mortal sin."
You are all welcome to fast with me to contemplate this issue. While true that I took in no solid food, my spiritual advisor advised me that for reasons of health, I should frequently refresh myself with FL beverages. That is, drinks with tricky little paper umbrellas sticking out. The more refreshment he allowed me, the more convincing this theological proposition became. I am writing to Ted tonight in the fervent hope of his repentance.
Amen.

Didn’t Romney himself tell us he was “severely conservative” when he ran against Obama in ‘12?
