Months of Airstrikes Fail to Slow Islamic State in Syria Militant Group Has Gained Territory Despite U.S.-Led Strikes, Raising Concerns of the Obama Administrations Mideast Strategy. By DION NISSENBAUM WASHINGTONMore than three months of U.S. airstrikes in Syria have failed to prevent Islamic State militants from expanding their control in that country, according to U.S. and independent assessments, raising new concerns about President Barack Obamas military strategy in the Middle East.
While U.S. bombing runs and missile strikes have put Islamic State forces on the

Months ago, when these airstrikes began, I heard a lot of experience military men say Obama was doing it wrong. Obama had his armed forces bombing areas at night or when the areas were most likely not very crowded. Wastefully expensive, non-serious and clumsy warfare remain as one of his hallmarks.
Gotta kick this can down the road for the next administration
Obama insisted on picking the targets, but they haven’t been able to find any Americans clinging to their Bibles, guns, and Constitutions out in the Syrian desert yet.
And nothing at all done to Boko.

You can’t make collateral damage your first concern and win any battles.
To kill a snake and make sure it is dead, doesn't one have to cut off its head?
He has no intention of destroying ISIS - he needs ISIS there to counter Europe’s ambitions of seizing that area for their re-colonization. With Russia in turmoil, Europe is not demanding the oil/gas it once did per reports from the news - don’t know how reliable that is - but Europe wants to strike out on it’s own and never depend on the West (US) or the East (Russia).
These attacks in Paris are the tip of indicators that point to the pre-plan of allowing a known aggressor into a host nation that is going to be used as an excuse for conflict. The Arab immigrants know this and have been feverishly trying to consolidate their power in these nations as a counter, but I don’t think they will win against the European Socialist that first invited them in.
Obama wants to maintain power in the Middle East through Arab nations that fund his ilk with their Sharia banks - Europe wants to reclaim lost territory of a bygone past and insert their own regional masters - and Russia has seen this as well and is planning their counters while devising maneuvers in their own inner struggles and survival.
I believe this will culminate into World War III at some later date...
This is as he wants it. Doesn’t want to annoy his true buddies.
Really enjoy reading your thought processes.
For those of us not plugged into global gaming scenarios they are an eye opener.
Thanks for sharing.
We all know he wants to “Transform America” and has done just that over the last 6 yrs with the aid of RINO’s, Pelosi, Ried, and the Jarrett.
Europe despises Obama. They know he is anti-colonial. He wasn’t in Paris, because he knew he was more unwelcome than Netanyahu is.
I left the High Threat Ops under Diplomatic Security Service right before Hillary took over in 2009...guys there I still kept in contact with stated her people were busy doing some things that just weren’t right...but stayed on to do the job they were hired for...I went back to DoD land...
Several incidents and Obama’s actions were puzzling at first, but then widening out and asking “why?” wasn’t landing an answer - until Paris. Also with this, Sharia Banking has not really been talked about over the last 2 yrs - reports coming form others talking about Arab banks funding terrorists - our own US Undersecretary of the Treasury listing Arab nations doing just that (which never got press coverage) - and starting to link the “incidents” with the “goals”.
Depending on what the next stages are - it will be interesting. All parties know a conflict is going to occur and all parties involved are shuffling around to try to gain the most before that actually occurs. In the meantime, alot of innocent people are going to die. To the elites, they don’t care. As a former solider, I do!
My shocked face is seized that way permanently. ( my mother warned me )
I would like to see the map describing the gains.
My theory is that the gains are not where the air strikes are. That is, the air strikes were to settle the border areas leaving noncontested territory subject to marginal gains.
That is, ISIS is actually ISIL since Syria and Iraq no longer really exist. What is in transition are the remains of Syria and Iraq, ISIL and Kurdistan
