Article 5:
“ART. 5.
The Mandatory shall be responsible for seeing that no Palestine territory shall be ceded or leased to, or in any way placed under the control of the Government of any foreign Power.”
Article 5 was violated when Trans-Jordan was created, giving a Saudi Prince 2/3rds of the Palestinian Mandate as a country. Even if the UN was to designate modern day Jordan as a Palestinian state, it would still be a violation, unless native Palestinians ruled it.

10. Since there is no such country as Palestine today, what caused its demise?
