I’m not a Constitutional expert, but I think this is how this is best handled, on a state by state basis.
The answer depends on how many Democrats vote in the Republican primary. The Democrats will know who their candidate is long before the SC primary, just like last time, and will move into the Republican primary to choose the Republican candidate.
Since I have been a voter, I’m not sure I have ever been represented by a pro-life legislator or state official. (I’m in CA). These Arkansans are so lucky.
