A Martin Luther King Jr. Day protest that blocked traffic on the San Mateo Bridge during the evening commute also caused several crashes, authorities said Wednesday.
Protesters describing themselves as Stanford University students and carrying banners and a Palestinian flag were dropped off in the middle of seven-mile span just before 5 p.m. Monday and shut down westbound traffic for more than an hour.

Some poor working man trying to get to or from work and gets held up by Stanford University students who parents are paying $40 grand a year to go to school. The 1% oppressing the 99% where's the outrage?

In some areas, the police just let these people block traffic as long as they aren’t violent. Its a complete abdication of the police function. If you or I were walking along the highway, you can be damn sure a cop would arrest us or at least escort us off ASAP. But these special little activists have their own set of rules because they are protesting. Its BS.
They don’t have to work for anything, why should they care what happens to the 99%?

Can they be held liable for the accidents? Can the insurance companies file claims against the protestors? Now that would be interesting

Those protesters are generating votes for Cruz—just as their forbears in the ‘60’s generated votes for Reagan for governor and and Nixon for president.
