Washington (CNN)Mark it down as a rare win for House GOP moderates. After scrambling into the evening on Wednesday, House Republican leaders decided to scrap a vote on a controversial anti-abortion measure scheduled to coincide with an annual gathering of anti-abortion advocates on Thursday because they couldn't round up enough support.

Here’s the ‘big secret’ to our miraculous predective prowess.

THERE IS NONE.

It’s simple logic 101 and historical observation/deductive reasoning based on facts in evidence. SJB says it all the time. Anyone can bat 1000. The problem is that modern ‘conservatives, ‘arent’. They are every bit ‘head in the clouds’ as a DU poster. They want SOOOOOOO badly to believe in something they believe in anything. And then bitch at the result. Just like a DU poster. Truth hurts. But it’s demonstrable fact.

Tough love time people. Wake the fork up. The GOP is fully Democrat, fully evil and lockstep dog and unicorn pony show with the left wing agenda. And ‘we’ put them in power

AGAIN.

STOP DOING THAT. Simple math.

WHAT??? You cannot be serious.

He dominated his house seat election and EASILY re won his speakership. “Nearly lost” what? Thats like saying Reagan nearly lost to Carter in a landslide. AKA “Things distant from reality”.

I know there are many ways to present stats on this topic and I appreciate your thoughtful input. Here are a couple of previous FR threads on the stats of minority abortions... http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3232691/posts "35,188 babies were black (46.1% of total)" http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3234678/posts "As far as pregnancy terminations, black children who were aborted comprised 42.4 percent of the total number of abortions in New York City. In 2012, out of 73,815 abortions in the city, 31,328 black babies were aborted."

The new Congress hadn’t even taken their oaths and the conservatives were already being sidelined.

This SUCKS.

voting didn’t change ANYTHING.

All we’re getting is the Obama agenda. :(

It absolutely BBQs my buns that people REFUSE to admit the reality that slaps them silly every single day.

Bhoner caves = excuses.
Mitch attacks conservatives = excuses

GOP panders to illegals = excuses
GOP runs/supports/funds people further left than Barry (as mitt’s ACTUAL IN OFFICE RECORD PROVES) = excuses and 2 years later, NEW excuses and revisionist history to recast him as some honest broker of conservatism.

The man personally gave cash to kill babies for God sakes.

And yet, Unicorns. Herds of unicorns run wild under the lightning free skies of Free Republic. Lies get pushed, more history gets rewritten, fantasy becomes reality and the GOP gets to save millions of dollars in TV commercials because a handful of paid plants here give them unrestricted access to the masses.

All of it in our face 24/7...and people just can’t seem to believe that? Bull. They WANT that. Because if they didn’t, they would not participate in the circus like a trained Pavlovian dog.

No less than 2 dozen FReepers are singing Boehners praise today, because he invited BIBI here. What the HELL does that have to do with DOMESTIC POLICY?

Boner gets a F for this.

Gust to add...Bhomer invited Bibi to USE HIM to prop up his ‘severe conservative’ creds.

“See?!?! I defied Barry! I am STRONG LIKE BULL!!!”

He’s something like bull alright...

I really, honestly have a hard time grasping how anyone with the druthers to come to FR to begin with coudn’t immediately deconstruct this in 1.5 seconds.

I’m a freaking born and bred mountain hick from the Adirondacks. I majored in Metal shop and the Genessee Brewing Company. If I can see this, I’s think far more intelligent minds than mine would figure out something that simple.

I don’t see a whole lot of ANY brains on display lately. I can envision no scenario, logically, gut level, intellectually/cerebraly or anything else, which would lead one to conclude anything but the blindingly obvious. I doubt Rube Goldberg could invent something that would get people further away from the truth.

I wish I’d kept my 3D animation programs. I’d love to do an anim with the average ‘conservative’ strapped in the clockwork Orange chair being shown unending months of GOP liberalism/betrayal in action on loop. then a rotting/decompisition morph sequence as the video plays...Then finish it with the pile of bones and dust saying “The Dem is always worse!.”

We had another “ANY Republican is better than a Democrat” today....

The left wing Democrat shot me in the head, and I died quickly.

The liberal Republican shot me in the stomach, so I died slowly, in much pain

There really is one thing to be done. Mock. None of these people are smart enough to wipe, much less discuss politics in a sane manner.

The only way to get rid of the republican party is to not vote for them and let them be voted out of existence by liberals. If this isn’t done we’re only postponing the inevitable. I say rip the band aid off all at once and if we survive, then build a new conservative party. America will be ready for it after a few years of unopposed rule.

Salvation is found in the heavenward direction. The bible says nothing about political parties. Why should it. God can work through that kind of thing as though it were nothing at all. Don’t worry about the things that are characteristic of the world. Embrace the things that are characteristic of heaven.

He needed 218 votes to be re-elected House leader. He got something like 220 votes. Had it been 217 votes, then he would not have been re-elected Speaker.

Sorry, those are the HOUSE RULES.

Hey if you want to go on believing that that wasn’t to script, thats your call. All I know is that not one serious person once said “Bhoner is in real trouble here”. Not one. Ever.

Why? Because it was not even close. Housse ‘rules’ are meaningless when you script an election.
