Boehner and Bibi blindside Barack

There is a heaping helping of poetic justice in Speaker Boehner’s invitation to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress on Iran sanctions. Just a week ago, the president stood alongside British PM David Cameron as he confessed to lobbying Senators on Iran sanctions, not uttering a peep about any impropriety in a foreign head of government interfering in domestic politics.

Of course, that didn’t stop press secretary Josh Earnest, who will say anything, from protesting:

Press secretary Josh Earnest said Wednesday afternoon that Boehner's invitation is a breach of normal diplomatic protocol. Typically, a nation's leader would contact the White House before planning a visit to the United States, he said. The White House heard about the invite from Boehner's office, not from the Israelis.

Boehner has made it clear that the stakes are high and Congress is not going to remain silent as Obama lets the Armageddon-seeking mullahs get their hands on the nuclear weapons with which to accomplish their long-stated aim of wiping Israel off the map.

"[Obama's] exact message to us was: 'Hold your fire.' He expects us to stand idly by and do nothing while he cuts a bad deal with Iran. Two words: 'Hell no!'" the House speaker said during his weekly press briefing on Wednesday. "We're going to do no such thing."

Speaking of that deal, Obama is offering up more bargaining chips to the Iranians with no strings attached. Josh Kredo writes in the Free Beacon:

The Obama administration on Wednesday paid $490 million in cash assets to Iran and will have released a total of $11.9 billion to the Islamic Republic by the time nuclear talks are scheduled to end in June, according to figures provided by the State Department.

I mentioned yesterday that Obama’s team seems to always have the “jump” on Republicans. This is the sort of stuff I’d like to see the Pubbie do more often: put Team Obama on the defensive.

Hey, Earnest, your butt buddy Obama made the new rule...that there are no rules. And now you want to whine about it? I hope the next two years are a constant barrage of “rules don’t matter” Obama @ss kickings.

Watch out! Here comes the karma train, @ss clown.

Obola should be happy he learned about this beforehand at all. Normally he finds out what's going on in the world after it's happened by watching Nick at Nite News.

If your city ends up under an Islamic mushroom cloud, your free community college tuition becomes pretty much a moot point.

Bibi has no reason to respect “protocols” when it comes to Obama.

Bammers is openly hostile to Israel due to his anti-Jew/anti-Christian worldview.

It’s hard not to think things are not what they seem here. Excuse me but I do not trust Boehner. And since when does he so much as pass gas without obama approving of it first?

I hope it doesn’t escape anyone, either, that this “free college” plan will be at the expense of those who were told that their 529’s would be tax free.

Of course, there’s a reason to go after 529 users.
Those are the responsible people saving their OWN money for their OWN kids’ education. You can follow the “correlations” from there.

I don’t believe this nonsense for a minute. He had to be given the green light by some Dem operative.

That’s what I’m thinking. He’s doing Obamas bidding maybe. Just what have they got up their sleeves? Surely Netanyahu knows full well what they plan for him. And surely he’s ready for them.

This was too clever a move for Boehner to ever think of it. He doesn’t have the “jump” on anything except for maybe his next drink or tanning session.

Credit Bibbi for suggesting this brilliant move.

Personally I believe that this was a political move on Boehner’s part to placate and manipulate conservatives. I don’t trust anything these e-GOPs say or do. They will always swing with the left when it comes down to it; money and power make them compromise on nearly every moral and important issue.

Well said. They talk conservative but talk is cheap and insincere. You’re right; they always swing with the left when it comes down to it.

I think people are finally starting to catch on to the GOP’s deceitful game.

Boehner is still shook up over the attempt on his speakership. Turns out the Tea Party’s death was overreported.

He needs cred and Bibi will help him get some.

Boehner thumbs his nose at Obama & suddenly he’s Mr. Conservative. OK........

Texas Eagle; "Press secretary Josh Earnest said Wednesday afternoon that Boehner's invitation is a breach of normal diplomatic protocol. "

Since when does the White Hut practice protocol ?
Josh Earnest, in his current PR position, isn't Earnest !
He's just 'Joshing' you.
