That should go over like a fart in church.
This is excellent.
Let people see what Caliph Baraq and the Pelosi/Reid Congress produced.
IIRC, this is actually
ILLEGAL to do
under the provisions of the ACA.
You can’t put a line item indicating how much the ACA is costing customers.
“recently attempted to pass their employee health insurance costs on to their customers”
Isn’t that their only option?
Good. Let them take them to court over it.
It’s a tax, right? That’s what Roberts said. So add the tax and break it out as a line item. Let the administration try to muzzle that.
So they'll just raise prices but won't blame Obamacare. Cowards.
Maybe do, but the LIVs may finally realize that a business doesn’t pay increased costs.
Their customers do.
The surcharge is a pass through tax.
It should be stated as such on all sales of everything
Buffalo Wild Wings has 1000+ locations franchises, what have you. The ones that enacted the 2% 0-Kare surcharge must have been ordered by HQ to drop it. Especially because people might think (right before Superbowl) that all franchises were going have a 2% surcharge. Which might kill Superbowl business
I hope EVERY consumer company does this.
Get’s the word out to the Low info types..
They already removed it from the bill.
The “special provision” ?
The surcharge did not last long - that is the bad part. It sounds as if they bowed to pressure.
Public pressure I guess, but the public will pay one way or the other.
there is no validity to your assumption.
the act of placing the tax on the bill is overt courage
They will just blame the biz for increased costs and call them greedy.
NOBODY gets away free and clear.
Perhaps it is possible to go completely “off the grid” and opt out, but even that is getting harder and harder all the time.
When the last of freedom flickers out in that territory once known as “the United States of America”, there won’t be many refuges anywhere in the world. Even Yemen may, in the end, be a more desirable place, but that is still some distance off. Meanwhile, keep your survival skill sets honed up.
Knowing how to kill and dress out a hog is good.
Just add the charge, and call it the Shared Responsibility Tax.
Problem solved.
Really? Is it actually in the law? I don’t remember seeing it when I read it.
