This is excellent.
Let people see what Caliph Baraq and the Pelosi/Reid Congress produced.

IIRC, this is actually

ILLEGAL to do

under the provisions of the ACA.

You can’t put a line item indicating how much the ACA is costing customers.

“recently attempted to pass their employee health insurance costs on to their customers”

Isn’t that their only option?

"The health care surcharge at our franchised Buffalo Wild Wings in Lubbock and Amarillo has been removed. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Our priority is to always provide our guests a great experience every day so they can enjoy our wings, beer and sports."

So they'll just raise prices but won't blame Obamacare. Cowards.

The surcharge is a pass through tax.

It should be stated as such on all sales of everything

Buffalo Wild Wings has 1000+ locations franchises, what have you. The ones that enacted the 2% 0-Kare surcharge must have been ordered by HQ to drop it. Especially because people might think (right before Superbowl) that all franchises were going have a 2% surcharge. Which might kill Superbowl business

The surcharge did not last long - that is the bad part. It sounds as if they bowed to pressure.

If I’m ever presented with a bill like that I’ll simply delete the charge. If management wants to call the law so ne it.

Costs of employment have always been passed on to the consumer.

Now that it's spelled out on their bill in black and white that they, in fact, are paying for the health care they voted for, the idiot voting populace is outraged.

We are living in a nation of morons.

"attempted to pass their employee health insurance costs on to their customers "

This is a patently stupid statement.

Companies get their money from customers.

When companies have to pay more taxes they must increase their prices.

Any time a government taxes a company they are actually taxing the customer. This tactic hides the tax from the customer. The company takes the blame for increased prices, not the pols.

I can understand why they did it and called it a surcharge. It was to point out the reason for that additional cost to them. IOW to make a point hey Obamacare is costing you more to eat out. All other businesses have simply quietly factored it into operational cost and none the wiser. Those griping about it though the reason went right over their heads it seems. IOW they are angry at the wrong persons. The restaurant must pass on operatioal cost to stay in business.

What restaurants need to show on their bills by the unconstitutional Obamacare surcharge is the excerpt below. Justice John Marshall had clarified that Congress is prohibited from laying taxes in the name of state power issues, basically any issue which Congress cannot justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.
“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

My accountant’s bill includes a breakout showing an obozocare charge. I laughed because I’ve been thinking of putting such a charge on my own bills.

Irony abounds - the same folks who are taxed to pay for ACA get re-taxed to double up their contributions to something for others...
