Finally, he hits something close to truth. Though I do think some are influenced by their environment, and it makes their likelihood of falling into this sin more likely.

Doesn’t matter if you’re eaten up with anger, sexual sin, greed, alcoholism, spiritual pride (common among church attenders), or gluttony....we all are in need of Jesus.

Not really all that strange, when you consider Obama’s upbringing. Initially, no father figure at all [and yes, the very young years do count—and quite a lot]; & after that it only gets worse. In Indonesia his mother palmed Obama off onto a homosexual transgender nanny...who slept in Obama’s bedroom.
So no, the later membership in Man’s Country is not that strange at all.
Many are not old enough to remember that 30-40 years ago gays themselves commonly referred to it as a lifestyle choice.
And then there’s the Maoist mayor of NYC...Comrade Wilhelm...who claims to be married to a *former* lesbian.
Quite a few tried it and didn’t like it. Quite a few also lived that life for many years and left - some are well known in the gay community.

The funny thing is, neither the homosexual lobby NOR the Administration understand this statement is at odds with what they REALLY want people to think.
They REALLY want everyone to think they are born homosexual, because then, it is a civil rights issue to them, and they cannot help what they are.
But that is liberalism for you. Nearly everything they believe is a mile wide and a sixteenth of an inch thick. They are so damned stupid they say these things without realizing it contradicts everything they said before.
You’re right, the left can’t get its story straight on homosexuality. One day it’s an immutable characteristic of the body like race. The next day it’s a lifestyle choice. It just depends on what’s more convenient to their argument at the moment.

That could be an understatement. The real justification is that they have zero control over their behavior, their contracting of diseases, disproportionate issues with alcohol abuse, narcotic abuse, etc. they are arguing this because without it, the idea of their consequences being a civil right complicates things. Bisexuality works well as an excuse, it also complicates matters because they can’t even tell who is truly homosexual, just like any ordinary person cannot aside from outward behavior, tell if someone is homosexual, bisexual, etc.

Equality pretty much fell by the wayside when the bus went sideways after one-too-many absurd demands. And “absurd” isn’t the half of it.
Instead of “preeminence”, validation of behavior via acceptance has become the first order. Look for emulation to be the next behavior demanded of us.
