By the time you read this, director Clint Eastwood’s blockbuster about the late warrior Chris Kyle will have become the top-grossing war-themed film of all time in North America. And that box office success has exposed the stark contrast between an American audience starved for patriotic Hollywood fare on the one hand, and a radical left viciously trying to maintain control of their narrative on the other.

As a rule, I don’t go to movies except on very, very rare occasions (cannot remember the last movie I did see in a theater). With all of the vitriol coming from the Left, this might be one of the exceptions.
Why would anyone be swayed by the childish arguments of a man too stupid to know that "Iraqi" is not a race?
It is very obvious the left and their Hollywood minions HATE this movie. While they are all patting each other on the back at the their Phony Balongna awards events this movie is handing them their butts on a platter at the box office.
America’s left is befuddled at the response by paying customers to this movie. They lash out with invective similar to that once heard for the 19 hijackers on 9/11/2001. Or, they attack the movie goers themselves. Radicals, conservatives, “patriots” with a tone that makes it seem like a Muslim Jihadi Terrorist. The final overarching insult “Tea Party” is the ultimate epithet.
What they don’t realize is that if any of their fears about patriotic conservatives/Americans, Tea Party, or even radical home-grown patriots is true, they are in deep, deep kimchi as we used to say. They were bitten in the nest of patriotic and unsatisfied vipers this past November; they will find even longer fangs in that nest come November 2016.
Meanwhile, the box office gross of American Sniper is now 4 times its production budget, at over $250 million.

If it pisses off liberals and lefties then I like it.
It is not “under fire.” A handful of left-wing loudmouths and eternal malcontents have whined about its “jingoism” and its “celebration of brutality,” but they all said the same thing about George Bush’s summer vacation slides.
They are simply jealous.
The articles states that one of Obama’s largest donor’s organizations (Soros founded it) is mad about the film. Hmmm now wouldn’t you say a president who receives his funding from those who are mad about us killing enemy combatants who wish to kill us first might be a slight conflict of interest?
“The BBC also noted that the George Soros-funded American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), which describes itself as the largest Arab civil rights organization in the U.S., has complained that “a majority of the violent threats we have seen over the past few days are result of how Arab and Muslims are depicted in American Sniper.”
In the old days this would have drawn much ire and they would have filed impeachment or treason (along with the other myriad of charges) but we’ve been beaten down with so many daily acts of treason that we’ve become indifferent.
It reminds me of their reaction to the Passion of the Christ. During that movie’s run, I was watching the weekly boxoffice at MoJo’s site, and laughing every week.
I’m 82 years old and as a kid we went to the movies every Saturday.
We saw many WWII movies and the names we called the enemy were not kind. We also pretended to shoot them with toy guns.In other words,we hated them.
These days the Hollywood idiots want us to treat the enemy with kindness. I don’t get it.
This is a great film.

This is the key. The most effective rebuttal to that whining would be an editorial that points out just how few the critics really are. And from there, just how inconsequential they are because of their small numbers. That would put a chill of fear into any leftist that read the article.
And thanks to the thousands of American soldiers, veterans and patriots who continue to show love and loyalty for our country, and the courage to defend and fight for what is right.
Real men love Clint Eastwood. Real women love Bradley Cooper. Real Americans love our military. There you have it.
Granted. But “Patriot” is a dirty word to a leftist. If the “Patriot” isn’t ‘inclusive,’ ‘diverse,’ or multi-cultural, he/she is a moral terrorist.
The only fly in the ointment with that view is they’re impervious to such arguments. We’re “on the wrong side of history” don’t you know.
This whacko worldview is their faith, their religious convictions. That movie blasphemes their PC “gods,” and that’s all they need to know. They’re simply not sane.
I am of the opinion that 90% (or more) of the “hate threats” complained about by ADC are in fact generated by them and their cronies... as with Tea Party “racist” signs, most is self-generated by the Loony Lefties... many times this has been proven the case. Without BEE ESS the Loonytune Lefties would have nothing to say.
