I can't seem to find any concrete answer to that question. Looks like a lot of muddling it up to confuse people in my opinion but I could be wrong. I'm not trying to knock the man because I'm more neutral on him right now until I hear more and the issue of immigration but Amnesty, illegals and botder security is a very important issue if not the defining issue for a lot of folks in this country.
And therein is what’s wrong with him.
He seems like a great candidate, but allowing millions of illegal invaders to stay is bad for the country, and it’s a deal breaker for me.
What ARE Scott ....
If this is accurate and represents his true beliefs regarding the millions of illegal aliens here from around the world, then he is dead to me politically (as would be ANY other politician with similar politically correct views.
Of course, he may have been quoted out of context.

Does he have multiple views on immigration?
Walker is, like others here have said, just a good little Chamber of Commerce Republican.
But I’ll be charitable. Up in Wisconsin, he’s unaware of the magnitude of Mexican illegal immigration, or the character of it: Chicano violence, terrorism and irredentism.
And someone needs to ask him: how do you feel about Mexicans now being the majority population in California and Texas? No big deal, it’ll still be the same America when it’s all the States like that? Or even just the Southwest?
Hard questions for a preacher’s boy from the midwest. But before he starts talking about further giveaways of the country, he needs the reality pointed out to him and he needs to be serious with his answer.
maybe .... and maybe he has (what is that word again?) - maybe he is “evolving.”
Views is plural
Thank you. Most don’t seem to notice.
Seems that some people will only support candidates who call for immediate deportation for all illegals.
Problem is, there are no candidates who have taken that stance (please correct me if I am wrong).
IMHO Walker is the best option for 2016.
“... the magnitude of Mexican illegal immigration...”

Mexicans are a significant portion of the illegal alien population, but being an illegal alien in America is becoming all the rage now for many other groups. South Asians (e.g., Pakistani & Indian), Chinese, mid-Eastern Muslims, Haitians, Africans have now also illegally entered and stay in the US — and they are here in the millions, with more flowing in daily. Should Amnesty ever pass, these millions will magically come out of the shadows.

Oh... got it, that was a grammar nazi post and not a clarification on Walker’s views.
Come one, come all!
Haven’t you heard Invasion is a Civil Right?!
Yeah. One thing I can say about the illegals from the other countries: they at least don’t think we stole the land from them, and that they have the right to waltz in and take over.
Unlike Los Companeros de Mexico.
He lives within the bounds of reality - I’ll vote for him despite his not being as strong as I would like on the topic. Others will use his thoughts as a singular reason to not vote for him despite everything else he brings to the table - I call them, “Those who bitch but will not be satisfied until the Left actually destroys the Nation”
Good gramaar is knot a nazzi thingy.
I once heard that some FReeper misunderstood something Scott Walker once said, and instead of trying to find out if it was true, he just went and surfed websites that repeated the same assertion. That’s why no Real Conservative and True Patriot will EVER support Scott Walker for President. All True Patriots think Scott Walker is a Commie.
The GOP position should be summed up in four words, one clear, succinct sentence: OPEN BORDERS, NO BENEFITS. This position, and ONLY this position, benefits the immigrant while respecting the taxpayer. Everyone wins.
Wow stupidest post ever. 20% + unemployment and you want open borders. Just wow.
