RE :”Even that old broken clock was right now and then. When MLK made that speech, the emphasis was still on black people getting an education or learning a trade and being a productive member of society—not the gibsmedat FSA crap going on now.”

MLK is not my cup of Tea, is he your inspiration?

Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane.

No, he is not my inspiration. I just said that even he was right every now and then, I sure didn't give him anything close to a blanket endorsement.

I must admit there is a certain satisfaction in seeing liberals hoist upon their own petards.

But pull any quote out of the same dark orifice you got that one from, but that doesn't mean that because I agreed with one (which Sarah Palin paraphrased in a speech) that I'd agree with YOUR selection any more than she would.

MLK Jr. was a Reverend. And in the mid 60’s, there WAS inequality in health care, like it or not.

From the perspective of a man of God (yes, I know about his flaws), I can’t fault his statement. You think Jesus would have had a different opinion?
