Senate Republicans on Thursday asked President Obama to turn over all communications he and his aides have had with the IRS since 2010, hoping to find out whether the tax collection agency shared private taxpayer information with political operatives at the White House.
The request, made in a letter obtained by The Washington Times, is signed by Senate Finance Chairman Orrin G. Hatch and all 13 other Republicans on the committee, and is addressed specifically to Mr. Obama, saying they want to see if his employees broke the law by acquiring or sharing private information.

or what?
Gutless wonders.
Perhaps something like this?
Maniac has replied with a scornful remark. #computer - Approach and repeat ultimatum in an even firmer tone of voice. Add the words, or else.
We’ll see these communications about the same time we see Obama’s mother’s passport and travel records and his University records.
Lol...true. They’ll say they’ve reviewed the emails themselves and find NOTHING inappropriate about their actions.
Maybe she will be someday. Or at least seriously discredited and her evil work undone. Obama should be behind bars too, but no president has ever ended up there. The next one, regardless of party, would pardon him, in any case.
Still, I think this is significant and we need to encourage the GOP Senators to pursue this.
We need to “gate” this scandal to give it traction. Can’t think of anything I really like. Maybe IRSGate?
He can’t . . . they were lost.
Ka-bu-ki buki buki means Aloha, on this island paradise....

Like he’s going to do that!
Can you say cover-up?
When the Chicago criminal combine landed in Washington Jan 2009, they did two things that were apparently intrinsic to their evil plans:
<><> They took over the US Census (more on this below).
<><> Rham Emanuel had unusual dual roles:
(1) Obama's COS,
(2) running the US Treasury (IRS is a division of the Treasury).
THE SMOKING GUN---WSJ REPORT--On Jan 20, 2009 Timothy Geithner was appointed Obama's Secy of the Treasury. But within three weeks, the Obama White House tightened its grip on Treasury. Obama put his COS, Rahm Emanuel, in charge of Treasury---Rahm Emanuel's dual role was an unusual move.
When he got to Treasury, WH COS Rahm Emanuel was so intimately involved in the inner workings of the Treasury, that the phrase "Rahm wants it" had become an unofficial mantra among subservient govt staffers, prostrate in obeisance, scurrying to accede to Rahm's wishes, according to Treasury government officials. What exactly does the Census Bureau spend $982 million on?
NY Post lawyers filed FOIA requests for details on no-bid contracts given out by the Census Bureau.....some are pass through contracts, meaning higher-ups dont sign off on them. .... to take a look at how the Chicago Census region is spending tax dollars.....and if there are any more deals like the one that showered the U of Maryland with millions of dollars a year plus tuition payments despite the fact that a whistle-blower called it inappropriate.
POINTS TO PONDER:
<><> Rahm Emanuel segued from the WH to being Mayor of Chicago.
<><> The former head of the Census used to teach at the school.
<><> The Philadelphia Census region was caught cheating on data collection that led to congressional and IG investigations.......
<><> a bunch of census computers suddenly went MIA right before Obama's second presidential election....
<><> is there a surprise audit going on in Philly?
“Why isn’t Lerner behind bars?”
To the best of my knowledge, Congress doesn’t have armed muscle to arrest the traitor. Maybe the Congress should legislate an armed congressional force (a couple of battalions) to go arrest executive fascist bureaucrats.
Lerner isn’t being brought to justice because there is no Justice at the Department of Justice.
Holder is simply a political operative/hack for the Dems and has been during all his years in DOJ working for the Clinton and Obama administrations.
And the new nominee apparently was a close friend and classmate of Holder’s wife from Harvard. Need you look any further to see why nothing will be done about Lerner or any other administration official?
They’ll huff and they’ll puff and they’ll blow the white house down.
This corrupt administration isn’t going to reveal the truth about Benghazi or IRS or Veterans or anything that the chief has done to hurt this country.
Let’s see if the Republicans carry through, or fold up and walk away.
Congressional commission releases new plan to overhaul military pay and retirement
True. Bend O over for the next 2 years.
They indict themselves before God with their own words. The lowly military GI, Sailor, Marine, Coast Guardsman, and Airmen has done their very best.
The Senate returns to (R) control and in the week following the State of the Union the Senate now demands what many here have been demanding ourselves for almost 3 years. I applaud them. They are wasting no time.
Yet, the first ~25 posters to this thread STILL can't find anything to be happy about.
FR is becoming increasingly populated by the same tired, useless mal-contents with way too much time on their hands, who mistakenly believe that the more depressed they sound in their posts the more important (supposedly) was their point.
They are what a circular firing squad looks like.
FReegards!
It’s because we are familiar with their antics. Appear to do something while actually not. They refuse to use the power they actually have to stop him. Funding would be cut for all the departments pulling regulations out of thin air. King Zero would be impeached by now if they were sincere.
The (R) Senate has been in business for 3 weeks and somehow (R)'s are "insincere" because they haven't impeached Obama yet.
Your position is beyond immature -- particularly for a Class of 98-er, who one reasonably expects should know better how this government was designed institutionally by its Founders to work.
