Sarah Palin, toying with a presidential bid, has joined a growing effort to choke off President Obama’s plan to rule through executive order by calling a “Convention of States” to draw up amendments limiting his power.

“This idea is really the last recourse of the citizens to rein in D.C. and restore our country to a Constitutionally limited federal government,” Palin said in a new Facebook post endorsing the plan pushed by the Virginia-based group Citizens for Self Governance.

She is lending her efforts to urge legislators in Richmond to approve having Virginia join in the convention, already endorsed by over a dozen states.

You need to get out more!

NAGR is an excellent org.

They have solid support because unlike the NRA, they do not ever sell out.

A constitutional convention would be sure to attack your rights.

Twenty States have filed a Convention of States application in their legislatures!

AZ, KS, MA, MN, MO, MT, ND, NE, NJ, NH, NM, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WY.

In addition, three states actually passed applications last year, FL, AK and GA.

That’s 23 out of 34 states well on their way!

Actually, that’s 3 down, 20 in play, and 11 to go into play.

My preferred plan is the plan Mark Levin outlines in “The Liberty Amendments.”

To take the country back by returning the constitutionally mandated sovereignty to the states, which in turn, gives control of the federal government back to the people, where it belongs.

it just doesn’t matter folks.....if judges can overrule the votes the referendums of the people, if Congress won’t even start impeachment process when it could.....its because MONEY IS CONTROLLING EVERYTHING.

WHAT IS the thing that controls money?

Each Governor and Secretary of State should transmit to the Archivist at The National Archives that their respective state has called for a Convention. The Archivist is the one who certifies and adds Amendments to the Constitution, so it is logical that he should handle this duty as well.

“For all of you opposed to the Convention of States I say fine. Then it’s on to secession and a bloody Civil War. I am down with that, bring it.”

Hell yeah. Go to it. Lol
