In the event of emergency, swap out barrel and put the little one into a pile of pipe.You ever watch NCIS or one of the CSI shows? The lab boys would pick right up on this as easily as the old "drag them outside" BS.
Premeditated murder and tampering with a crime scene? You would have plenty of time to think about this in prison afterward.
