He shouldn’t need to request anything new - the original use of force authorization after 9/11 should cover this. The idea that ISIS is some totally new thing and al Qaeda died with bin Laden is a lie; it’s just been the Democrat’s excuse to do nothing but retreat, and now waiting for more authorization is just a way to keep stalling.
War powers should only be granted if Obama steps down. He’s the reason for all the trouble over there. Why should we trust him to fix it?

The Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Devin Nunes (R-CA), was on Megyn last night. Good interview and informative re ISIS IMHO. One of the things he brought up is that we’ve been very slow in getting weapons and supplies to the Kurds - - I remember hearing and/or reading months ago that we were going to expedite those.

Gen McInerney) on Megyn last night talking about the number of sorties being flown and compared the number today (IIRC it was 7 or 70)with the number in the 2 previous Iraq wars, which was almost or over 1,000 per day.
Sure give Obama War Powers, and turn him loose on Mesopotamia, and you will see Libya in Rubble x 100.
