1) How is “Murder” defined? Northern Nigeria has an extremely high rate of Muslims killing entire villages of Christians (except the young girls they can sell). If that is “murder” then Nigeria has an extremely high rate of murder. Murder in Christian southern Nigeria is quite low.
2) It would be more helpful if communities of equal population were compared. Split the US into 435 districts of equal population and then put rank each of them where they belong in the list. Likewise with other big countries. Show Nigeria north, central and south separately, etc.
Since most of the gun shot victims are black, isn’t it racist that all these gun control groups are fronted by white people?
I don’t think Switzerland is the gun owners paradise that a lot of folks think it is. I know someone took me to task about that once and provided a LOT of data from the Swiss law books. They may pop up again.

Swiss gun laws were much less strict than the United States in many ways up until 1998. Then the socialists in Switzerland, working with support from the EU, got Switzerland to create federal law somewhat stricter than the U.S. in some areas, about the same in others, a little less strict in others.
This in spite of the fact of extremely low homicide and accident rates.

There are very few bad guys in Switzerland. It is one of the most law abiding countries in the world. Most of the crimes are committed by aliens. The Swiss, logical thinkers that they are, have not made becoming a Swiss citizen or permanent resident quick, automatic, or cheap.
I understand that if you are willing to pay a substantial amount, you can get a permanent visa without too much trouble.

Exactly correct. International comparisons of crime suffer because the definitions, collection, and reporting all differ between jurisdictions to large degrees. A lot of countries are corrupt, and have a strong preference for making their statistics out to be lower than they are in reality.
