"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. The Return of Sanctimonious and the Huckster.
Sounds like a really bad B movie. I'll pass.

The socialist Huckster is only out to stop Ted Cruz. He cannot be stupid enough to think he can WIN the nomination.

A caucus isn’t like a primary.
In a primary, you vote in private for your guy, no second choices.
In a caucus, you sub-caucus with like-minded people face-to-face. You might look around and see the group whose candidate you favor isn’t big enough to get a delegate to the next level, so you have to make your second choice quickly.
In Iowa it’s even more difficult to pin down, as delegates to the next level can’t be bound to a candidate.

I know there are a lot of Cruz enthusiasts out there and I understand this. Howver, pragmatic politics tells me he has absolutley no chance of winning the Republican nomination. I hope he doesn’t come out with a book, because, if he does that tells me his main interest will be selling the book. I also don’t think Huckabee has a chance and of course he is already hawking his book. Cruz makes good speeeches and is a good debater, but he has not record of conservative accomplishments. The guy to watch is Walker who has a proven record of accomplishments and is hated by the Democrats and the Unions.

About the only voting block Huckaboob has locked down is the anti-Beyonce’ voters.

As an Iowan with at least some small sense of what is going on in my state, I’ll say that, in my opinion, the article is pretty accurate.

Christi, Romney or Jeb only with a "Bible"
No thanks.

Going forward, we will be only voting for known conservatives. Simply having an (R) next to their name will not solicit our vote. The eGOP can be thanked for that.

I’m in Iowa and somewhat active in this stuff. I don’t know of anyone who is supporting Huckabee; he isn’t viewed as a serious candidate in my eyes.
People want a conservative candidate who can win.
