I just spent the past hour going thru PF youtubes after the one you posted.......I wish I hadn't stopped dropping that purple haze last year.......LOL!
I was never into rock or any music for that matter back in those days, I just turned on the car radio......
Now that I'm older (and retired) a lot of that stuff I listened to then has more relevance now and I'm now appreciating it.
As for Pink Floyd, until today, I was only familiar with "The Wall" but now having listened to those other tracks on YouTube, I've missed a lot.
I'm going to check my library and see what they have available.........
As a side note, I've also come to appreciate Dire Straits, especially Mark Knopfler. There was a PF track called "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" where the guitar sounded like Mark Knopfler playing......
