D’oh, essentially Mueller was a victim of believing a life-long liberalist narrative where all dangers of the world can be eliminated if we just hug each other more. Kayla’s ‘go give-em-hugs’ efforts led her to Syria, where ISIS appreciated her naiveté, took her as a hostage and sold her to a militant commander to use as a war trophy.

Trying to help the savages is a delusion. They don’t want help from normal people. They want normal people dead.
We will never know for sure. But your probably correct. They will never accept reality.
I doubt I would have agreed with her progressive politics but unlike most of our liberals she walked the walk and paid the price. And she didn’t facilitate or excuse violence against anyone from what I’ve read.
Not agreeing with her does not mean I do not mourn her suffering and death and pray for her.
