NBC Reportedly Has ‘Dossier’ of Brian Williams Lies; Investigating His Expense Accounts
Mediaite ^ | February 11th, 2015 | Tina Nguyen

there are a lot of Brian Williams fabrications. Like, a lot. And yesterday’s suspension of the anchor over revelations that he exaggerated stories from the Iraq War allegedly stemmed from a larger internal investigation at NBC, with enough findings to compile a full dossier and enough allegations to prompt an overview of his expense accounts.

...

sources at NBC say that Williams’ history of stretching the truth was well-known, and NBC execs had tried to curb his habits for the past decade:

...

NBC was also investigating his expense accounts for reasons unknown

Money can’t possibly mean anything in the DNC propaganda department. I’m starting to think he slept with someones’s wife/husband.

He’s a horndog. Get some dirt on him with some unexplainable hotel room service expenses, have a quiet little private meeting with Brian, lay it all out on the table and suggest he forego the remainder of his contract and the evidence disappears.

It’ll be interesting to see who they replace him with. Who they will be protecting!

But..but..he was such an effective Concern Monkey, with the coiffed hair, and everything. He could scrunch his face up and make us really care about global warming, and President Obama, and stuff. I will miss him. In fact I...ooh, look, Rachel Maddow.

Where did they come from? They may have already had a former colleague in mind when they took the job.

He may be toast but the bigger story is NBC’s willingness to tolerate him and turn a blind eye to his behavior. As long as he was bringing in money he was safe, but when the bean counters (probably the same ones looking at his expense reports) noted that corporate revenue was threatened, he had to go. If not for that, he’s still in the chair. Its all about money; especially when they say its not.

People have joked that Jon Stewart is leaving his Comedy Central show so that he can take over the NBC Nightly News post. I actually think he would be a significant upgrade over Brian Williams. I know that Stewart is definitely a liberal, but he doesn’t try to hide that. I actually think that he would be somewhat more even handed in his treatment of politicians of both stripes. I’m not suggesting he would be the best candidate, but he wouldn’t be the worst.

Or maybe he had decided NOT to report something.
Higher ups certainly knew about his behavior and could use that knowledge to keep him in line. If he didn’t comply all would be exposed

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s a good one and you nailed it perfectly. Great post!

He was also at times a Scorn Monkey who could instantly turn on a frowning look of disapproval with an intonation of self-righteous contempt for all things conservative.
