Supposedly it is doing well in advanced ticket sales-But I think it won't do well after the first week. While some people might like reading about S & M stuff, it is not so "fun" to actually see on the big screen IMO. (There was a movie made back in the 80's called 9 1/2 Weeks about this same subject matter. As I recall- It didn't do that well at the box office, in spite of all the hype before it's release.)
As for the "teacher" who gave the puzzle to eighth graders- Fire the perv- No excuses.
It will be interesting to see how the numbers go for FSG in general distribution. I don’t see a lot of demand for S&M fantasies, but I’m not much of a movie person. [I haven’t been to one in 15 years.] I hope FSG flops and flops BIG time.
That pervert of a teacher who gave the FSG puzzle to kids needs to have been fired yesterday. What a piece of pond scum.
