We now know why it appears that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg appeared to fall asleep during President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address last month – she was drinking beforehand.

Truth is, she hasn’t been 100% lucid for quite some time, if ever. She is an affirmative action hire.
Was she drinking in her chambers before the SOTU? Wonder if she’s ever drunk while on duty in the court.
Which is why ‘regular order’ has got to go.
50 + 1 to approve a justice, and we should be nominating very serious conservatives to the bench. This is why Cruz winning the WH is so important.

I can only say this. Hope against hope, trial above trial and faith above faith, I’m hoping we’ll see a President Cruz. We ARE on what seems an irredeemable downward spiral, but the only thing I can have now is faith and hope. :0(
Two years ago I played the SOTU drinking game with Jameson and got so smashed I had bed spins for the first time in over 25 years. I can’t watch it live anymore mainly because I have other things to do but I can’t really blame her.

She was hammered by the time of the speech.
I don’t blame her. I’d skip the SOTU completely, but if I had to sit through Bacrock Osama, I’d be downing a bottle of cheap whiskey. Canadian Mist or something like that. It’s the only way I could get through an hour of Obama.
And Roberts says nothing to this?
Methinks This is a strategy for Ruth to exit the court to make way for an Obama appointee waiting in the wings.
Sort of how Pope Francis came to be, without Benedict dying.

She’s a decrepit old selfish liberal zealot who WILL NOT give up her position. Masquerading as a Jewish person, she has done as much or more to destroy the very things the religion to which she pretends to ascribe should have made her more protective.
You can bet she’s had the ‘talk’ with more than one Obama/Democrat Party representative about giving it up before Obama is out, but her innate selfishness, senility and false pride refuses to let go.

Actually, drinking is the only thing that keeps her from rotting away from the inside.
It's more important than ever to nominate a conservative.
She also not sober when she rules on cases before the court.
Democrats are attempting to push her out so they can put someone younger and more radical in... don’t be fooled by this - democrats are liars, trolls and totalitarians. They’re not capable of moral outrage on any issue.
I bet she was dreaming about when she did Ulysses S. Grant behind a tent the day before Gettysburg.
Getting bombed before that speech may have been the only good decision of her life.
Grant had higher standards, even when falling-down drunk, according to Ginsburg.
She did the “Devil’s 3Some” according to Grant’s diary. Supposedly, she invented it.
Sitting on the highest court of the land she is and always has been...Drunk and Senile Progressive Liberal Democrat Communist, a most disastrous combination for SCOTUS if there ever was one.
