right..posts 39/44/47...obvious to see i was asking you a question you refused to answer...

Yeah right. More twisting and turning from you. That's all you've done (plus name calling).

I asked you in #34 "How should the planes at Clark have been kept?". You are the self declared authority so act like an authority, answer the question and quit trying to turn it around and pretend that it has been you all along asking the question of me.

LMFAO- you sat on your high horse (you must be an obama fan) asking me question after question....i ask you the same question on three separate occasions and how do you answer? “oh- my computer’s broke-when did you ask me a question?”

LMFAO- you sat on your high horse (you must be an obama fan) asking me question after question....i ask you the same question on three separate occasions and how do you answer? “oh- my computer’s broke-when did you ask me a question?”

Oh well, let's see: You addressed #32 to the entire thread "All" and in addition specifically named myself, IowaMark and Ecliptic. It's quite a statement of confidence by someone who has rarely if ever posted in class to walk into class, claim to be an authority, address his post to "All" and call students names.

That being said, in your #32 you wrote (I added the red font):

Begin#32
never inferred or thought he could’ve defeated the Japs- but he got his ass kicked in no time despite plenty of warning...

again- the planes at Clark Airbase were kept tightly together and wing-to-wing; the Japs annihilated US airpower in Corregidor in a matter of hours- despite all the warning he had they (Japs) were coming and the lessons he should’ve learned from Pearl Harbor...

read the book “We Band of Angels” its about the nurses who were trapped on Bataan and read how they felt about MaCarthur’s gross negligence...

that’s just one of many...

End#32
In my #34 I responded to your #32 with the following (I added the green font):

Begin#34
never inferred or thought he could’ve defeated the Japs- but he got his ass kicked in no time despite plenty of warning...

If your statement is accurate, why was General Homma replaced and forced into retirement?

again- the planes at Clark Airbase were kept tightly together and wing-to-wing;

How should the planes at Clark have been kept?

the Japs annihilated US airpower in Corregidor in a matter of hours

Since there was no airpower at Corregidor aside from perhaps a few PBYs, a few hours seems like a pretty decent defensive effort.

- despite all the warning he had they (Japs) were coming and the lessons he should’ve learned from Pearl Harbor...

How much time did we have in the Philippines to learn lessons from Pearl Harbor?

read the book “We Band of Angels” its about the nurses who were trapped on Bataan and read how they felt about MaCarthur’s gross negligence...

Thanks but books written long after most of the participants are dead tend to tell untoid stories. that’s just one of many...

Assuming you put forth your most compelling read first, I'm highly doubtful of anything else on your list.

End#34

After a few back-and-forth posts, in your #60 you post your most recently revised list of questions you mendaciously claim to have originated by you and been unanswered by me:

Begin#60
right..posts 39/44/47...obvious to see i was asking you a question you refused to answer...<
End#60

Let's see what's in those three posts.

Here's your post #39 (I added the bold black):

Begin#39
“Now you are saying Clark when earlier you were saying Corregidor. Don’t go trying to pretend you knew all along after I pointed out your error.”

LOL: Post #34:

again- the planes at Clark Airbase were kept tightly together and wing-to-wing;

How should the planes at Clark have been kept?

you’re confused and you’re wasting bandwidth as well as time...but hey- you keep believe macarthur was a good general and the rest of us are wrong...nighty-night...

End#39
The only question asked in your post #39 above is the one I made bold black which is the question I asked you back in my #34. So don't claim that as your question to me.

Now let's look at your #44 (bold black added by me):

Begin#44
LOL- so you’re agreeing the planes at Clark were correctly placed/positioned?
End#44

All you have done in #44 is try to evade the question I originally asked you in #34, the same question you now pretend was your question to me in #39.

Let's look at what you wrote in #47 (bold black added by me):

Begin#47
you ask a lot of questions, most which i answered but offer nothing in defense (typical of someone trying to defend the indefensible)- so i’ll ask again; you agree the planes at Clark Airfield, which remained basically in the same place they were the day of Pearl Harbor attack, were correctly positioned???
End#47

If you will stop trying to avoid admitting you don't know why, or how planes at Clark should have been positioned, we could have a decent discussion since other statements in your post #32 indicate that you have a lot to learn about events of 12/8 on Luzon.

LOL- all this time put into your post, never mind wasting the resources and server space for Free Republic, and still no answer to the single question I asked...

LOL- all this time put into your post,

To you it seems like a lot but it is really quite simple.

never mind wasting the resources and server space for Free Republic, and still no answer to the single question I asked...

The best answer I can give is that you do not know the answer which is why you continue the deception of trying to frame my question to you as having been your question to me.
