Usually hauling coal or iron ore between ports on Lake Michigan

Ever bring coal into Lake Charlevoix? That may have been before your time.........

I was an active ordinary seaman and able bodied seaman on the Great Lakes from 1973-1978 and then switched to the oceans.

I looked at the photo on Wikipedia for Charlevoix and it certainly looks like one of the ports we stopped at.
