Georgia’s only female death row inmate has submitted a rather lengthy list for her last meal ahead of her execution later this month.
Kelly Renée Gissendaner, 46, will become the first woman to be executed in seven decades in the state when she receives a lethal injection on February 25.
She requested a last meal of cornbread with a side of buttermilk; two Burger King Whoppers with cheese; two large orders of fries; cherry vanilla ice cream; popcorn; a salad with boiled eggs, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, carrots, cheese and Newman’s Own buttermilk dressing; and lemonade. […]

The state is under no legal obligation to supply anything out of the ordinary for a “last meal.” It is done as a traditional courtesy, nothing more. Since this worthless wreck is abusing it, her last meal should consist of prison gruel and lousy coffee.
I’d ask for badly prepared fugu and cheat the system.

Lobster used to be prison food.
She and her husband look alike. I can’t believe she had a husband and a boyfriend and that she convinced one to kill the other.
While not impossible that she will get her just deserts in reality there is a 99.9% probability there will be a reprieve. This country, its people and the politicians simply cannot excrete.

People seem to think it odd when others buy diet drinks with fatty meals. I can tell you that once a person gets used to diet pop, normal pop tastes FAR too sweet to be enjoyed. It is NOT unusual or odd.
Texas ended this practice....90% did not even touch their last meal. State decided capital criminals did not deserve any special treatment more being cold blooded murderers!!!

Death penalty seems inappropriate for this murder.
I don’t see why they should get anything at all beyond basic sustenance. It isn’t like they’re going to need those calories and proteins. Seems like a waste of good food to me. Better to serve it to people who need it more (outside of prison, that is).
Only thing inappropriate is how long it took to get it done, not the sentence itself. Guess you aren’t a Bible believer?
