It’s good seeing Walker evolve and straighten up, but our Gov in TX who has only been in a month is vastly more qualified for POTUS as Walker, so forgive us Texans for slobbering over him.

But it’s good to see WI becoming more and more like TX.

When you’re vetting candidates, look for consistent conservatism over the long haul. If you don’t find that, even if you’re hearing the right words, it is almost certainly nothing but more lip service

Exactly. I've seen too many cases of campaign-year conservatism from people who wind up governing like liberals to be taken in by it again.

If Walker is the GOP nominee, I'll probably hold my nose and vote for him in the general election against Hillary or whoever the Democrats run (on the other hand, if we get Jeb, I'm just leaving the ballot blank), but I won't support Walker in the primaries.

Walker is the governor of Wisconsin. Immigration is not a large Wisconsin issue, unions are. In most towns of Wisconsin the American Indian population rivals the Hispanic population.

The Wisconsin worker is under utilized because few companies have moved to Wisconsin. And many of its larger companies have moved out to states that have easier union laws. Several years of this have left Wisconsin, a state with a large education well trained workforce, without anyone to hire them. Remember when Milwaukee was a beer town. While beer is still consumed in Milwaukee more than anywhere else. The beer is more likely to be made somewhere else.

” Sounds like he’s trying to walk backwards and forward, at the same time. That’s a difficult task.”

That is because LYING isn’t easy. Walker has a history....it ain’t good.

I’m not surprised at the big rush toward Walker. He has been a great governor and makes an excellent impression to those who weren’t familiar with him before. Often when someone is just a name, people think of him as wishy-washy when he isn’t at all—they just haven’t really experienced him yet.

I do think people in New York are grateful they have someone to run to other than Cruz, who is the real leader. They are afraid of his uncompromising conservatism. But that is what makes him the candidate of many.

I am a bit wary of the quickly loading Walker bandwagon.

Not necessarily true of beer, but for most everything else, "somewhere else" seems to be China, Mexico, or some other Third World country. Even if all unions disappeared from the US tomorrow, US wages would still be an order of magnitude more expensive than Third World labor.

I have no respect for a candidate that doesn’t say what he means and is consistent; what is worse; using obama as cover.

CRUZ 2016!

He has always been consistent in what he says, no backtracking, no sudden mind changing revelations, no cowardly flip flopping. If or when he makes a mistake; or changes a position, he will not point fingers but straight up take responsibility.

It wasn't even an Executive Order. And it was never signed by anyone except Obama. It was a memo from Obama stating new policy. It does not have the force of law. But it does have the force of intimidation. Federal workers know they will not get in trouble if they don't deport anyone. And they know that the hammer will come down if they do.

“LMAO!!”

That's still not amnesty as long as they have to pay a $200 fine. And promise not to do it again.

While this concerns me I also know that I will never find a candidate that has always agreed with me 100% of the time on everything his entire life. If you take Cruz out of the mix (which I won’t do until he does) then Walker may be the best of the worst. At least he has a proven track record of fighting, and beating, the left.

This is the only reason, I couldn’t support Scott Walker. If he’s serious, I’ll take another look, but it looks like something he is saying to get the nomination.

Once again, a post from a leftist trying to divide and tell us what to believe about Walker.

I mean, why would a leftist want to insert themselves here, giving us the most certain of unbiased facts?

I'm sure the author simply wants to inform us. I'm sure the author, or the entire left, would never try to mislead conservatives in any way fashion or form.......

Where do I sign up?

Signed,

Jose Jiminez

Don’t leave the ballot blank if Jeb Bush is the candidate. Vote for the most conservative 3rd party on the candidate. That helps sends a clear message to the GOPe just how many committed conservatives there are in this country, than it does if you just don’t vote.

Walker will get Right to Work on his desk in the next few weeks and today pledged to sign it.

Walker getting the huge 20pt (not to mention likely funding) from Romney, Rush and Matt Drudge was hugely unfair to Cruz, whom Walker is obviously ideologically trying to catch up to.

It seems the real leaders in WI are in the Statehouse, and Walker is their figurehead. Whatever the case, I’m happy for WI.

There is nothing that will get me to vote for Jeb Bush. If there is no third party candidate I’ll vote for my dog before I’ll vote for another RINO.

“I am pretty sure that nothing will be good enough for the likes of you.”

Whereas your ilk couldn’t care less about the millions of illegal foreign nationals who have transformed California and other lucky states into leftwing third world outposts.

Jeb Bush could use another immigration speechwriter, you should apply.
