(FULL TITLE) TREASON: Lt. Gen. Tom McInerney Accuses Obama Of “Aiding And Abetting The Enemy” By Revealing Mosul Battle Plan

(CNSNews.com) - Much to the surprise of many Americans, the Obama administration is revealing its plan to retake Mosul, Iraq’s second largest city, months before the anticipated battle happens.

An official from U.S. Central Command told reporters on Thursday that the fight will likely begin in April or May and will involve up to 25,000 U.S.-trained Iraqi troops.

“It’s very mystifying why this administration would reveal potential plans to retake Mosul,” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) told Fox News’s Megyn Kelly Thursday night.

“If a private in Iraq had revealed this kind of planning inadvertently by leaving a plan in the chow hall or the gym, he might have faced a court-martial, but it’s now become a matter of policy this administration is going to announce war plans in advance.”

Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Tom McInerney, a Vietnam Veteran, said he agrees with Sen. Cotton: “It’s absolutely bewildering. We are aiding and abetting the enemy,” he told Fox News’s Kelly.

McInerney said it’s unlikely the Islamic terrorists will flee ahead of time, knowing what’s coming: “They’re going to stay, probably, and it’s still going to expose our forces to a certain risk because they’re (ISIS/ISIL) going to be doing a lot of defensive preparation — IEDs, different force positions, knowing an attack is coming. All those kind of things that are going to make our troops more vulnerable.”

Asked why U.S. Central Command was telegraphing the time frame and details of the operation to the enemy, the U.S. military official said it was important to highlight the Iraqi security forces’ commitment to the anti-ISIS/ISIL mission.

The official said the U.S. will provide military support for the operation, including training, air support, intelligence and surveillance. He said no decision has been made yet on whether to send in U.S. ground troops to help call in airstrikes. That decision would be made by senior defense and military leaders and President Barack Obama.

The official said the goal is to retake Mosul, captured by Islamic militants last June, before the summer heat and the holiday month of Ramadan begin. He added that if the Iraqi troops are not ready to fight in April or May, “we have not closed the door” on delaying the attack.

Said Cotton: “You have to wonder, given the timing right after the summit on countering violent extremism, that this is the administration trying to get a P.R. win since this summit hasn’t produced anything other concrete to justify the President’s failures and counteracting the Islamic State.” Keep reading

I think you mean Amendment 25, Section 4:

"SECTION. 4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President. Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office."

This is something done by the VP and the Cabinet.

Now you know why Joe Biden is the VP.

No surprise, Obama like others before him are publicly aiding and abetting a country killing illegal invasion of our country by millions. Right here at home.

This is 100% indefensible, unjust, and inexcusable.

Yes, sir! Lt. General Tom McInerney is absolutely correct on Obozo, especially if the U.S. government is ARMING our enemies. What kind of idiots do we have in the State Department, CIA, and DoD? What are the morons doing and WHY are they doing it?

I just want to remind everyone about the Iraqi army and what they will be facing.

1. They have plenty of military machinery. And they left a lot of it behind for the jihadist to play with.

2. The officer corp is badly trained. If they are planning the numbers, which I think is around 25,000 troops, they don’t have the organizational ability to lead this number and keep the coordinated.

3. The US military does not have a good relationship with the Iraqi leadership, and does not know if their assistance can trickle down through the ranks.

4. The Iraqi army is rife with corruption.

5. The soldiers literally gave away their salaries to their officers in order not to serve on the front lines.

6. Our state department said that the reason we announced this joint campaign was to warn the civilians, so they can get out of Mosul before the attack.
I say this is a warning to jihadist to harden their defenses.

Having lost the element of surprise, BO and his press corp, can say, later, after the battle is lost, look the weeks of preparation and reporting, well, at least we tried and had good intentions. And it there book, consequences don’t matter, but that they had noble intentions.

Where are all the hard core US military guys?

The guys that have been “Retired” under the pressure of this administration?

Are they at least talking to each other?

These are serious guys that understand what is going on even more than our base of serious Freepers here.

What are they doing?

Going into retirement?

It’s not their nature.

I believe we are days or weeks away from a coup d’é·tat, either by or against BHO. Events are happening at such a rate that they will soon be beyond anyone’s control, certainly of our feckless and incompetent leader. Either control of the gov will be seized and the constitution put in abeyance, or someone will find the pistachios to do the right thing and end this reign of idiocy we have been burdened with. A Democrat pundit laughingly suggested just yesterday that we conservatives think Barach Obamama is the “Manchurian Candidate”! For once this was no straw man. I believe that he is exactly that, with all its implications.

Note as time goes on, there will be fewer and fewer pundits and talkers reflexively hitting back with “you have got to be crazy” or “some sort of nut” to think that. Also note that Every inexplicable and puzzling thing BHO has done fits this status perfectly. What then? Who knows? Maybe Lawrence Harvey might know?

Gee, doesn't anyone remember April 1944, when Gen. Eisenhower said we were planning on attacking Normandy in June?

I really don't know what's mystifying about this; the Obama administration wants ISIS to win. Isn't that obvious?

I don’t think 0bama gives a damn about winning or losing.

In the big picture, he just wants ISIS to be legitimized as a State that then can be negotiated with.

As Yemen fell, a State dept tool said they are hopeful for a “peaceful transition”.

WTF?

Time for the Generals to act. If Congress can’t act for political resons maybe the Joint Chiefs should roll tanks to White House—seize power and place a Junta in control, close congress, place an acting President in power—Like General Patreus, until elections can be called. Nation under martial Law—all major cities under military control—the right to assemble cancelled until elections. News papers and media under control. I would almost welcome this—and I never thought I would say this in my life.

It does seem like things are rapidly spinning out of control. There seem to be more ‘important” people openly questioning Obama’s motives now, in public. Gingrich said the biggest danger to America is in the administration. Obama and his staff double down in face of the criticism. This will blow up sooner or later.
