What a good dog.
And what a good, and unusually perceptive, police officer. He deserves a reward, a medal and a promotion. Maybe he can help train others officers?

Good to see a story like that for a change.

Labs are the most awesome dogs. I have a chocolate lab who loves everyone and all creatures. And she brings in the newspaper every morning.

Dogs like people. All you have to do is let them know you are not a threat. Police officers who don’t like dogs shouldn’t be on the force.

“good labrador” = redundancy
Police not shooting a loose dog. The way it used to be.

So did the dog approach a LEO specifically or was he trying to get any human's attention?
Could John Boy recognize a police car and reason that the cop inside would help?
Had John Boy interacted with LEO's before?
Don't suppose I'll ever know whether this was incredible coincidence or evidence of higher-order intelligence.
At any rate, that's a GOOD DOG

What a good boy! And the officer really is an angel. He could just as easily have ignored the dog, but instead wondered why a dog like that was roaming in that kind of weather. Kudos, sir!

Who’s a good dog? Why John Boy is a good dog!

The rest of the stories at this so-called free thought project are all about how horrible and evil cops are. Even the title of this story gives them away - as if cops shoot dogs for fun.
There must be a better source for this story than this disgusting site.
