The two cancelled programs were hosted by hard core liberals Ronan Farrow and Joy Ann Reid. They will be replaced by Thomas Roberts who will host a two hour program. Unfortunately, Roberts is another liberal who had previously failed in an earlier attempt to host a show.

First, MSNBC gets paid regardless if they have just 1 viewer. All cable channels get paid per the number of households they're available in.

Want to get rid of MSDNC? Get rid of cable/satellite, and stream, and get the news on the Internet.

Second, MSNBC is the official arm of the Obama WH and DNC.
