Because Salon loves conservatives.
This is satire, right?
I want to know if he is “severely conservative”.
So, he’s a Chamber of Commerce “conservative”.
No, unfortunately. They are still depending on the stupidity of most Republican sheep. Battlefield preparation it’s called. A battlefield with only Jeb on it is a good thing for them.
NO ONE at Salon has any idea what ‘moderate’ means, never mind ‘conservative’.
Here come the lies from the left. I’m sure they are already collecting donations for him to run
AMNESTY is not Conservative...
I don’t care if he’s Ronald Reagan incarnate.
We don’t need another Bush in office.
AMNESTY is not Conservative...
If Elias Isquith says it, that’s good enough for me!
This is satire, right?

Could be but wasn’t written as such or at least that’s how I perceived it.
He will be whatever the media spin machine makes him out to be, which is a function of money, not ideology.
Surely we haven’t forgotten how this works.
He’s “severely” Conservative, don’cha know.
Too funny, Salon trying to sell Jeb to Conservatives.
which is a function of money

And apparently he has a lot of it in the campaign war chest.
Conservatives don’t endorse lawless illegal alien policies.
These people probably think Stalin was a conservative.
Both major parties need to scare their supporters about the opposition.
The Republicans portray Democrats as extreme Left and the Democrats portray Republicans as extreme Right.
The truth is that the big parties are pretty much the same on policy with the difference being the words coming out of their mouths.
Obamacare came after Romneycare with progressive gimmicks like abortion and birth control in it, but its all pretty much the same with more money being moved into insurance companies and hospitals to bail out their costs driven up by uninsured people flooding the system.
Obamacare will not be reversed by the GOP because they want it too to bail out their special interest friends.
Our major political parties do the same thing once in power but make dramatic speeches claiming big differences between themselves to win elections to gain power.
