On Monday, the Justice Department asked a federal judge in Texas who issued an injunction last week against President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty to stay his injunction. The Obama administration also proposed that the judge issue a partial stay that would allow every state except for Texas to start implementing Obama’s executive amnesty.
The Justice Department gave U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen until Wednesday to decide on the matter. If Hanen does not act, the Justice Department will ask the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals for a stay.
The Justice Department argued that the Department of Homeland Security would “sustain irreparable harm” that would not be cured even if the Obama administration wins its appeal. The Obama administration alleged that a “stay pending appeal is necessary to ensure that the Department of Homeland Security (“DHS” or “Department”) is able to most effectively protect national security, public safety, and the integrity of the border.”
“Allowing the preliminary injunction to remain in place pending appeal would also harm the interests of the public and of third parties, who will be deprived of the significant law enforcement and humanitarian benefits of prompt implementation of the Guidance,” the Justice Department argued in its filing.

BINGO!!!!! This is why a Federal judge was required to rule in this in the first place.....because 26 states are suing the Federal government, not just one!!!
If I were the judge I would haul the attorney who signed that motion into court and make him explain every point in that brief on the record and under penalty of perjury.
If I had any reason to believe he was not being entirely truthful in every point in the brief, I would have him jailed for contempt and refer him to the state bar with a recommendation that he be disbarred for filing a frivolous and false document in federal court.
Everything in that motion is a bald faced lie. And the attorney who filed it knows it.

So.......Obama Admin. admits an Executive Amnesty order exists!? IF so, where is it? Jeh Johnson performing as though there is one doesn’t get it entered into the Federal Register, so where is the Amnesty order, and why isn’t it registered?
That is a new one on me—giving a judge a deadline.
Yes, he can just deny the stay appeal.
However, what the Obama administration is clearly planning is this, should Hanen agree to what they want:
1. Hanen’s order then applies only to Texas.
2. Liberals in Texas then bring suit under the ‘equal protections’ clause of the Constitution (14th Amendment).
3. Judges then will be forced to order Texas to comply on Constitutional grounds.

Obama makes me sick. It looks like he is trying to use a classic bait-and-switch with the judge.
A "compromise"? What "compromise"?
This seems to be the compromise that Obama is trying to sell to the judge: "I give you Texas and you, in turn, give me the rest of the 20+ states who asked for the stay."
Maybe it is just me, but Obama's "compromise" seems heavily weighed in his favor.
Like Hanen is going to say ‘oh, this was all a silly misunderstanding, Abbott forced me into it, you got a deal.’
Zero sought to burn down Ferguson and NY over race, and a war in Texas would be gold for him to watch.
He misunderestimates the US to hang together when foreign enemies attack (him).
