It wasn’t until Obama that it really sank in. It’s because he was such a mind bogglingly poor choice, on so many OBVIOUS levels, and yet so many loved him. It’s why no small number at the time wondered if he was the Antichrist. It was pretty much all that explained it. Who knows. It may still be the only explanation. And all that that implies...
I hope so, but he’s just the type the media wants to select as the GOP candidate. A squishy center-left career political hack that is guaranteed to lose in November. Jeb or Christy fit those requirements. No way they want Cruz or Walker nominated.

Never heard such a fuss. The outrage isn’t that Dear Leader doesn’t love his country, it’s that the screamers don’t and they don’t like being called on it.
Impeachment, even if it succeeded, would mean...riots across the country.
It is a sad and alarming day when the fear of violent unrest dissuades us from honoring the Constitution.
Imagine our founder's reaction if they witnessed such a decision.
The floodgates were creaking in 2000 when Bush barely beat Gore. The democrat/communist media/entertainment/academia complex’ bitter disappointment in 2004 was palpable when they threw everything they had at Bush but couldn’t carry dead dog Kerry over the finish line. But both of those elections told me that we were really close to the tipping point that such obviously unqualified and really really awful candidates could be serious contenders for the Presidency. Millions voted for them.
0bama was the perfect storm politically. He received, and still receives, the same fawning worship from the media/entertainment complex. His candidacy showed how far their rot and corrosion had hollowed out the core of America.
I think 0bama is too lazy to be the Antichrist. But he does work for him, and is preparing the way. Unless he contrives a reason to suspend the 2016 election. Then I will re-evaluate my opinion.
You’re right though I believe it’s some of both. The screamers are being called on it but when their figurehead 0bama is insulted it insults them as well because they have a sympathizer in the highest office in the world.

Of course Obama, and his wife, don’t love America. Besides “fundamental transformation” he hates the term “American exceptionalism” because he doesn’t understand it.
His Wookie said “for the first time in my life (after my husband started running for prez and winning) I’m proud of my country”. That’s not love. That’s disgust.

Obama was elected by default because Kamikaze Conservatives stayed home believing Republican candidates were just not pure enough. And it will likely happen until there are no more elections. Some of your friends just never learn how important it is to win elections. They would rather just bitch after it is too late.

Jason Riley is a true treasure. Not yet in the Thomas Sowell class but a very smart man and BTW is from Buffalo, NY my current hometown and once wrote for the local liberal rag the Buffalo News. I did not know that until I read the Imprimis piece which is excellent. Keep your eye on Jason.
McCain had every opportunity to put Obama out of politics forever. The material was so rich, starting with the “reverend” Wright and continuing with Bill Ayers, his commie background, his Muslim upbringing, his questionable birth place, all of it. Palin wanted to go for it, but she was silenced. Thanks McCain.
