I don’t think McCain wanted to win. He wanted to die in his Senate chair, denouncing conservatives.
Actually, that hopey-changey thing is working great for LIVs. It’s the rest of the country that it’s not working for.
LIVs are getting more ‘free stuff’ than ever before: more free Obamaphones, most Obamacare, more food stamps, welfare subsidies, maybe soon more free college education. What’s wrong with that (from a LIV perspective)?
One problem at a time. I’d be happy to move on to the problem of President Biden if we could remove 0vomit from office.
I want to see the man in jail. I don’t care when they start proceedings - now or after he is out of office. But the sooner, the better.

Impeached? Impeached? He could behead a troop of girl scouts on the White House lawn during the Easter Egg roll, butcher them, barbecue them and serve them to all the participants and he still wouldn’t be impeached. And if you criticized him about it, the press would say “it’s a black thing” and accuse you of being a racist tea bagging rethuglican for bringing it up while licking their fingers and asking Michelle what kind of “awesome” spice rub they’re using this year and beg for more of that “delicious” macaroni & cheese and a refill of their Kool-aid.
Some people who are denouncing former mayor Rudolph Giuliani seem to be saying that it is just not right to accuse a President of the United States of being unpatriotic. But when Barack Obama was a Senator, that is precisely what he said about President George W. Bush. Where was the outrage then?
Score one for Sowell. Not much gets by him. He's got to have a file on Obama a foot thick by now. A tear-stained one no doubt, as Sowell has had so many opportunities to contemplate what sort of political legacy Obama has saddled future black politicians with, one of suspicion and resentment stoked up by Obama precisely when he had the opportunity to abate so much of that kind of thing.

Charlie Rose and guests, talking-head wiseguys all, were chewing it all over when the subject of the "Fist Bump" cover of The New Yorker came up last weekend.
They made light of it and ha-ha'd about what a sendup it was.... But here it is 2015 and they're still talking about it.
Unintentionally, The New Yorker made the call and put Obama's legacy on the cover of their mag at the very start of his regime. They will still have occasion to regret it for the rest of their lives -- in jest, they accidentally told the truth. In jest, they hazarded a savage putdown of infidel conservatives.... And lost. Big.

Obama has all but outright said that he will find a way to remain President even after his two terms are up. How many millions of people has he brought across the border to back him up? He’s made it clear that he thinks our Constitution should be changed.
