Some people who are denouncing former mayor Rudolph Giuliani seem to be saying that it is just not right to accuse a President of the United States of being unpatriotic. But when Barack Obama was a Senator, that is precisely what he said about President George W. Bush. Where was the outrage then?
Score one for Sowell. Not much gets by him. He's got to have a file on Obama a foot thick by now. A tear-stained one no doubt, as Sowell has had so many opportunities to contemplate what sort of political legacy Obama has saddled future black politicians with, one of suspicion and resentment stoked up by Obama precisely when he had the opportunity to abate so much of that kind of thing.
