When Mark X. Cronin got involved in Barack Obama's first campaign for president in the summer of 2007, Hillary Rodham Clinton was considered the "inevitable" Democratic candidate -- especially across New York, her home state.
Now, many pundits and pollsters again promote the thesis of "Clinton inevitability," showing facts and figures to demonstrate that this time her chances really are overwhelming.

If she doesn’t stroke out during the election. she’ll stroke out soon after. Who will be her VP?
She doesn’t seem to have much stamina but will happily be a “place marker” to keep things in Dem control. She can’t take running all over the place like Obama. I don’t like being programmed to accept the “inevitability” of a Clinton presidency. Which is what they are doing. I hate those vague “they’s” when others use them so I’ll be more explicit. TPTB in charge of choosing our candidates for us.
