I sent the following to Se. McConnell in hopes that he will consider it a viable option.

Dear Senator McConnell,

Presently the democrats are filibustering in order to prevent discussion on the DHS funding bill passed by the House. The democrats want funding for the illegal immigration executive amnesty order, while the Republicans are against it, and rightly so.

I suggest employing the nuclear option in this battle. It is justified by holding a news conference and telling the citizens of the US that the security of our Country is too important to be held hostage by the liberal democrats.

A vote on the bill would then be held, passed by both houses of Congress and land on the president's desk. If he vetoed it or refused to consider it, it would be a victory for us.

But I think you are under the misguided impression that Mitch McConnel gives a flying crap what you or anyone else that isn’t giving him loads of money thinks.

Absolutely he should do this. I’ve been saying it for a while too. Do you think Harry would do it? Of course he would. So, why won’t mitch?

Alternatively push it thru with reconciliation like 0bamacare was.

Just right there are two ways to get this done. Both would be done by dems - and have been done by dems. So, why won’t mitch?

He needs to be challenged for leadership position badly. Yeah he controls money but he needs to be prompted. Somebody with little to lose or somebody with plenty of money and power HAS to save America.
