Ellison is a Muslim. NOT surprised he won’t attend.
More than half the members of the Dirty Thirty who will be boycotting Netanyahu’s speech are members of the Congressional Black Caucus or Jewish.
However, the majority of Congressional Black Caucus members WILL be attending the speech, including such prominent members as Cory Booker and Maxine Waters. Democratic Congressional leaders, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, will also be attending, as will the head of the Democratic National Committee, Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
The only principle tying the Dirty Thirty together is hatred of Israel. So if the DTs are serious about obstructing Israel’s interests in Congress they will create a Congressional Anti-Israel Caucus to strengthen their efforts. Otherwise, they will be exposed as mere garden variety anti-Semites seething with hatred, whom every honorable American will shun.
The speech will be better without them.
And nobody cares.
There’s still a few days left - my money says most CBC members won’t be there.
I'm guessing ol' Elijah Cummings is opting for the more dramatic CBC walkout.
