The Border Patrol has already been ordered to do nothing anyway. So what’s the point?

Well, there aren’t any elections for almost two years, so let the MSM play their inflammatory games — by next week, the public that Gruber correctly called stupid will be busier looking forward to Joanie Loves Chachi reruns.

My House representative, Luke Messer (Gov. Mike Pence’s replacement), and recently appointed chairman of the House Policy committee, sent out a short 4-5 question e-mail questionnaire, that I received yesterday or the day before, asking what we/his constituents (presumably) wanted him to do.
I suspect most of the responses—if they were anything like mine—were plainly to challenge Obama’s attempts to legislate by executive order. These are very interesting developments in the House.

Credit where credit is due. I’m amazed at Boehner’s fortitude ... pleasantly so ... but amazed.

Bonehead is house, Cruz is senate

It's actually not required that the Speaker of the House be an elected member of the house, or hold any other federal office, so I suppose the House could elect Cruz Speaker. All other Speakers have been House members, however. It'll never happen, but it's amusing to speculate about other, non-House members, whose election as Speaker (and second in line for the presidency) might drive progressives crazy. Speaker DeMint? Palin? Walker?

But that's precisely what the RINO's infesting the Senate who are in the pocket of the Chamber of Criminals don't want to do.

Their votes are already bought and paid for: unless the House offers a sweetener (like earmarks), they'll stay bought.

CNN was actually SCREAMING about this, this afternoon, in full “BLAME REPUBLICANS!!!” mode, interviewing Democrats only, and pimping the meme, while never once mentioning that it is Obama’s refusal to negotiate anything that is causing this.

PREDICTION:
I look for Obama to start “causing” (which means having his sycophantic minions doing it) Airline Disruptions due to “lack of Security staffers” by Monday or Tuesday.

Just heard on special report that the republicans will try to pass another bill tonight... Or something like that. Charles said this is devastating to the Republicans ...He said that they should’ve just raise the white flag of surrender and be done with it instead they played right into the hands of rats and Obama. He said that the leadership should’ve gotten rid of the filibuster and propose another bill without funding for amnesty. Bonehead should be fired immediately!!! So here we go let’s see if the Republicans have a spine of steel to brush off all the darts from the media!

No offense, but this concept of media blame game has got to stop. The media will always blame conservative Republicans for any thing. I get irritated listening to Rush Limbaugh harping on the media blame game. He will slice and dice it all the way down to a molecular level, and he is right, but why bring it up. He could better spend his time trying to instill some backbone into the Republicans. The best strategy to fight the media is the way Reagan did it: by fighting and by EXPLAINING WHY you are doing it. Has anyone ever caught Boehner or McDonnell clearly articulate anything?

I just found out that 85% of DHS employees are classified as “essential” and therefore they will continue working without pay until DHS is funded.
There are plenty of ex-military Border Patrol agents who enjoy catching illegals. They won’t stop doing their jobs,
In 2014, the Border Patrol did 486,651 apprehensions of illegals.

Am I the only one here that thinks this virtually guarantees the house will pass the Senate version and fully fund DHS for the remainder of the fiscal year - including amnesty? I don’t see any other play here. Please someone tell me otherwise.

I recall that during the last gov;t shutdown over Obamacare the Republicans were being attacked because they were seen as obstructing progress without having won enough control in Congress. Now that they have legitimately won both House and the Senate, they will still be attacked for trying to cheat their way to influence. And of course, most of said Republicans won’t be willing to contest it at all.

PANIC. If DHS doesn’t have full funding then the borders will be wide open and swarms of illegals will cross the border. Oh wait.

Honestly, the fact that the GOP couldn't formulate a coherant plan over the past few months (I know, they probably want this to pass and are just going through the motions) really says all that we need to know here. We knew exactly how the Dems would approach it, and that the media will never be on the side of the GOP, so it should have been possible to come up with something better than this CF.

RE: No offense, but this concept of media blame game has got to stop.

Well, we’ll just have to explain this to those whose lives will be DISRUPTED because of Obama’s NON-ENFORCEMENT.

How are you going to tell the Sheeple whose trips at the airport for instance will be disrupted because there won’t be enough DHS personnel?

This will be blamed by the media on CONGRESS of course and will be trumped up by the alphabet channels on TV plus CNN and MSNBC and NPR.

We need to tell Congress when they do something right. Very hard, darn near impossible to stand their ground with Obama’s pimps on both sides of the aisle.

I sent a quote to my kids, don’t have it but it said something to the effect of when’s the last time you told someone they did a crappy job that they got better.

We need to be positive where possible.

As I said on another thread the membership is livid with Boehner, McCarthy and Skalise for hoodwinking them over the budget legislation las fall. The leadership begged them to vote for a bill that Boehner promised they would then table and bring up a different bill.

The members agreed, voted and then Boehner
Didn:t table it but rather brought it up for passage. With Rat votes that both Boehner and the whitehouse lobbied for it passed.

Boehner. McCarthy and Skslise are all rats claiming to be “extremely Conservative”.
