**SNIP**

The country’s 42nd president was “terrified” to be painted by Shanks, who has done portraits of Princess Diana and Pope John Paul II. But he hid all fears with a relaxed smirk and bold stance. The work now hangs in the National Portrait Gallery.

When Clinton was not in the room, Shanks says he set up a mannequin sporting a blue dress he likened to Lewinsky.

Excerpts....

When Clinton was not in the room, Shanks says he set up a mannequin sporting a blue dress he likened to Lewinsky.

Its casted shadow is depicted on the Oval Office’s fireplace mantel that Clinton leans on as a metaphor of the effect the affair had on both his administration and the former president, Shanks explained.

“He’s probably the most famous liar of all time,” Shanks told the Philadelphia Daily News.

He’ll always be the impeached, disbarred sexual predator, and rapist. But he’s still a ‘rock star”.

I wonder if it would pass a pap test?

Maybe paintings mellow and soften with time but it seems to me that the painting of, say, Washington shows more talent/technique than say, Clinton’s. I can’t recall one in my lifetime that impressed me positively.

“It would be nice to have an edit function, where one could correct spelling errors”.
Oh no, can’t have that. The spelling nazis would loose their chance to feel superior in pointing out a typo or grammar error. With pocket phones and micro keyboards, typos should be expected.

BREAKING…. The Obama administration has just released the PRESIDENTIAL PORTRAIT that will hang in the White House after he's gone… Per the release: "The president is quite pleased and feels it captures the essence of his presidency, both the humanity of it and the results he worked and labored to achieve… Well done."
