Experience with Foreign Policy - that is why a President has a Secretary of State! I’m not trying to be flippant here, but the next President will have to concentrate on issues at home and bring the troops home from overseas.

We’re bankrupting ourselves by playing global policeman.

Gee. Whodda thunk that the media is so exhaustively comprehensive in word/fact checking every single statement Walker makes in these two years before the election?

You know, like they DIDN'T question anything O’Hussein said in his two years before executing the biggest scam this country has ever seen?

While we're at it, I see all the MSM rectal exams on everything Jeb Bush says, right? No? Well, they say “we're after Giuliani, aren't we?” But Rudy isn't running for anything.

Just Walker and Cruz, apparently. And you can tell who they're most afraid of by it. You get the most flak when you're over the target.

Sitting in his home, Jeb Bush is thinking "muy bueno!"

This article is a good summary of why I prefer Cruz to Walker neither of whom are going to be loved by the GOP establishment.

Cruz is a policy wonk. He understands the issues, his positions on the key issues are correct and he speaks his mind about them. That's why we like him.

Walker is honorable man, a good conservative and, I believe, would make a good President.

But I expect Cruz to run circles around Walker in the debates just because he has the depth of knowledge of the issues facing the American people at his finger tips. Neither Walker or any of the other candidates are in his class in that regard.

Walker has had convenient flip-flops on abortion and amnesty. Not convinced he is a conservative.

> “For example, in our conversation Saturday, I asked Walker what Republicans in Washington should do in the standoff over funding the Department of Homeland Security. “Not just Republicans, I think the Congress as a whole needs to find a way to fund homeland security going forward,” Walker answered. He explained that he recognized the concerns lawmakers have about giving up their ability “to push back on the president’s questionable, if not illegal, actions.” Walker noted that he was part of the states’ lawsuit against Obama’s action. “I think they’re right that the president is wrong,” Walker told me, “but I also think we’ve got to make sure that homeland security isn’t compromised.””

Wrong answer. Walker is a good egg but he’s way too predictable and mediocre in his tact. The above is typical middle-of-the-road politicking.

DHS is classified 70% essential meaning they will not shut down. Walker needed to highlight that angle. But he didn’t.

He also had no offering nor idea as to how DHS would be funded while shutting down Obama’s illegal amnesty. He could have for example said Congress could authorize an interim loan facility for DHS workers with loan fees and interest to be paid by the federal government when backpay would come. But he offered no ideas.

He also equivocated as to Obama’s amnesty actions noting they were “questionable, if not illegal”. My God Man! They are 100% without question illegal!

So my opinion is Cruz is who the nation needs now. Walker comes later. Cruz is the Superstar, Walker is a 1st string player. As posted before Cruz is the Captain needed to save the sinking ship that is America. Walker is the Captain that is needed when the ship is seaworthy again. Cruz now, Walker later.

Walker will be 56 years old in 2024. He’s got plenty of time. And he would make a fine Vice-President for 2016.

Anything in that story about looking for made-in-the-USA merchandise and being willing to pay a few extra dollars for it? Oops.

Like Walker but think the good old boy GOP club will go for a softer candidate and will feed the media with BS.

The 'concerns' seem more like talking points than any actual concerns.

Walker is correct, correct, correct about PATCO. It's about the leadership, dummies.

In regards to policy questions about, say, the Ex-Im Bank, Walker is correct again...it's not as simple as it's being made out to be.

Polished presentation got us Obama. That should clearly illustrate why it's not a reliable indicator of... Leadership.

I don’t like how Scott Walker is already starting with the “I’m the best candidate with the experience it takes and none of the others are”

I even wrote to his campaign and said to remember Reagan’s 11th commandment “Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican”

The ‘Republican Establishment’.

Time to implode this barrier to good, honest true Conservative government.

They dish up offal like Dole, McCain, Romney as though they didn’t intend to win anyway.

Scott Walker is the ‘real deal’ amongst all other Republican potential candidates.
