Definitely the parent’s fault, but segregating the kid at lunch with a cardboard box like he’s some kind of freak of nature seems excessive.

Remember, he’s not a teenager, or even a pre-teen, he’s a little boy.

The cardboard screen seems a bit excessive, but separation from one’s friends at lunch time was a commonly used punishment in my elementary school.

And it worked. Lunch was one of the few times during the day when students could exercise their rights to freedom of association. Being deprived of that right was aggravating and annoying and we tried to avoid it.

Also what does it say on the white cup next to him turned upside down.Dunce.If so some one in authority needs to go down and hard.That is mentally abusive to that little guy
