House Speaker John Boehner is under fire on Capitol Hill, as Democrats are poised to take control of the House floor to fund President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty.
Even though Republicans have solid majorities in both chambers of Congress, a little known and seldom used House rule seems likely to become the vehicle through which a so-called “clean” Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funding bill—meaning one that would have no language blocking Obama’s executive amnesty—would pass the House of Representatives.
Senate Republicans already caved last week, passing a clean DHS funding bill for the full rest of the fiscal year after Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) held Senate Democrats together in blockading the House-passed DHS funding bill that contained language blocking it.
The House, under Boehner’s leadership, tried last week to pass a three-week clean funding bill, but more than 50 conservative Republicans held together to block its passage. Shortly thereafter, the Senate passed a one-week bill via voice vote—after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell had told members to go home, meaning that even if they wanted to block the voice vote, most couldn’t get there in time to do so—and then the House passed it shortly thereafter. The president signed the one week DHS continuing resolution into law just moments before the deadline for current DHS funding, meaning DHS narrowly avoided a partial shutdown.

Then why did they ask for the power? One wonders.
What the hell good is a representative republic if our representatives just allow something like this to happen without so much as a shrug?
Do they really think their constituents will just take it?
One thing is for sure, the deadbeat Republicans are consistent. From the moment they refused to challenge the usurper’s fraudulent entry into the WH, the fix has been in. They have been conducting a film flam on the American people for all these years. There is nothing to look forward to in Washington anymore but more betrayal. God help us.

Well, since I will NEVER Vote for a Democrat or do anything to assist one, I guess that makes me one of those People you are referring to.
Come General Election time you have only two Choices, and ONLY two Choices...
In the Primaries, you (generally speaking) support your Conservative Guy and you bear the responsibility to convince enough people to agree with you to get them into the General Election. Then you have the responsibility to convince enough People to Elect that same Conservative Guy to Office.
Barring that, you don’t support the Republican, you get the Democrat. Don’t Vote, you support the Democrat by Proxy. Ditto if you Vote Third Party.
Just to be clear, I was a Newt supporter back in 2012, and that went nowhere. He gave up before I gave up on him.
Don’t confuse my Post as an argument against your Opinion.
I only deal with facts, and the facts are the RINO Republicans are Cowards and ALL the Democrats are Traitors.
Then again, I’m tired of this whole FR blame game anyway.
We are a Minority who spend their time Preaching to the Choir while the Church Pews are empty. We end up beating up on each other and accomplishing nothing in the process.
Anyone that thinks that Minds are changed by calling out other Posters here in a Holier than Thou manner is full of it. Last time I checked, we were all on the same side.

I no longer care either. Had to get over the caring or I’d be permanently outraged by both parties. I’ve realized that nothing I do or say will make any difference....period. They don’t care what we think or say. We are being ‘ruled’, yes ruled, by a bunch of soft, namby pamby, school yard bullies....both sides.
I am not playing their games anymore but they’ll not get my vote either. I truly believe the ballot box is broken anyway or we would never have wound up with men? so destructive to our country.
